I rarely read the instructions but I never throw it away just in case I have any questions, I’d definitely get a couple of those for camping, working on my vehicle, and when we have power outage.
Yes, they'd be great for camping.
Great review you hit all my questions. Thank you
Thanks, this is my favorite light for working on a vehicle. The magnet is the best of all the lights I own.
Like it. Just ordered one!
I’m convinced !! Thanks
I was just using mine an hour ago to help me spread some salt at the end of my driveway. This is a must-have light.
No way would I read the instructions in 10 different languages. Let’s go North Stars!
😎💯🙌
I wouldn't read the instructions because I knew you would and tell us all about it. LOL!
Haha, I'm glad that I can provide that value!
Excellent review, thanks for taking the time to post this.
You bet! I keep this stored on my tool chest. I use it all the time. I can always find a place to mount it.
you probably dont care at all but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Sonny Ahmad Instablaster ;)
@Shawn Troy Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Shawn Troy it worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
The carabiner arm has a notch centered to hang the light from a hook or screw
Yes, this light has some great features. It's my favorite light so far.
Nice video thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
You're welcome. This light is my favorite. It clips to stuff, the magnet is strong, and the swivel shines the light perfectly.
Good review. You did not talk about the caribiner function. I would use the caribiner to hang on clothing or gear for hands free lighting during camping or running out to the shed.
Oh man, I can't believe I didn't mention it. I use the magnet and the stand the most and the carabiner about 10% of the time. This is my favorite work light so far.
Charge same time as using bright mode?
Even when I need to read the instructions I don't, I just search the answer on CZcams
Haha, I hear ya! I know many other people do that too.
Yep
😀👍
Can you charge the second battery independently is what I’m wondering.
I think it's a good idea to have a backup battery available, but I don't think you can charge it independently.
Does the battery come with light a 2Ah or 2.5Ah or 3.0Ah ?
It looks like the latest version of this pivot light comes with a 3.0
My usb rechargeable floodlight pivoting just blinking red and green, won't turn lights on.
Do you have a spare battery to test out? They make a 2.5ah that has longer run time. Every so often batteries die out. I think being stored in a cold garage or vehicle over winter is sometimes the cause.
Hey Mark, greetings from Howell, Mi. I would absolutely NOT have read the instructions, we are guys, we don't need instructions.....right. lol
I would use it at work repairing machines. Looks like good quality, how many lumens on high?
Smoking DeWalt Lol, it takes patience to get through the instructions some times. The light is 550 lumens on high. I was recently at BW3 in Howell. I’d rather go to that location instead of Lansing.
I'm going to pick up one of those lights, I'm a big fan of Milwaukee tools. I'm currently using a harbor freight 390 lumen folding light bar, I like it but I feel like I need to be careful not to break it.
Next time you're in Howell, check out Tomato Brothers, Clearys Pub and 2Fogs pub. Thanks for posting this video.
Awesome! I used to work for the Tomato Brothers family, back when they had Gus's Carry Out in Okemos. I'll have to check out those other places you mentioned. Cheers!
Mine has red and green flashing lights doesn’t seem to charge
Is it new? Hopefully you can exchange it.
Yes it was Xmas gift
QUESTION OF THE DAY: Would you bother to read the instructions before using this light? Would you use it for other projects besides working on a car/truck? If so, what would you suggest using it for?
Yes I would read NOT every word, but the basic instructions. i have ordered two one for each car for emergencies.
I miss the Northstars.
Yeah, the good old days, lol!
When you push and hokd the power for 2 secs its a auto off instead of going thru the modes
Thanks! This is my favorite portable light. How about you?
Cant beat it works perfectly
Maybe the AA floodlight with rechargeable AA's
No
Your shop gives me anxiety. .n tools are too pretty
I can fix most things with my setup. It a little more cluttered now, lol.
Absolutely would NOT read the instructions, seems to simple of an item to have to read the instructions.
Haha, I hear ya! It threw me for a loop not knowing a few minor details about it.
read instructions? Come on man... I'm a guy. I watch youtube for people like you to tell me how to use it
Way to expensive @70 😒
It seems a little pricey, but the rechargeable battery is a cost savings over time.
