im in the middle of doing a bunch of things to my 2.7l ... figured it was time cvf downpipes 4" magnaflow catback dual intake stage 2 afe coldair and some other suspension crap... I figured I would do a bigger IC next
The actuator itself has to be take off yes. I left it plugged in and zip tied it behind the grille. Email me, I’ll try and give you some pics if you want.
Being your 2022 Ford F-150 XLT 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 was basically "stock" + untuned at the time you installed the CV Fabrication intercooler save for your cold air intake could you feel a difference in power, acceleration or being the stock ECU would not pull ignition timing, or boost under high heat (heatsoaked) conditions?
It feels like it doesn’t pull as much timing now, but it does not feel any more powerful than before. The tune I have now, which didn’t increase boost, it just smoothed boost out so that it does not taper off in higher rpm’s feels a lot more powerful and is putting out almost as much lb/min of airflow as my 2.7 was doing. However my 2.7 was had double the timing as my 3.5 has right now. I am just shocked this 3.5 is making 50lb/min on only 12 psi of boost. Pretty amazing. Can’t wait to get it up around 19-20 psi and turn up the timing a bit.
Awesome! Love my CVF IC and exhaust!
Pretty much the best in the industry!
Keep the videos coming!
I’m glad somebody enjoys them! Seems like recently they don’t have many views

Yeah you need to do the intercooler asap
@@BoostKingMatt haha cool although I might just stick with the titan v2. or maybe that high mount one maybe ill wait for your next vid see whats up!
Can you show a picture of the shutters after you trimmed it? Does the actuator need to be moved? Thanks for the help

Can't wait to see more of the "build" on your 3.5 liter EcoBoost F-150!
@kriswinger9391 I’ll put a video of it soon. Right now there’s a ton of videos line up already uploaded just waiting to air.
How do you like it so far?
Absolutely love it!
