    My absolute favorite easy Creami recipie is Pineapple Sorbet made with just a can of pineapple in juices. Pour it in...freeze...no need to add anything or blend before freezing. It will come out powdery on the first blend. No need to add anything. Just respin a few times (totally worth it) . The texture comes our perfectly and it's such a treat. My son and I usually split the container.

    So for the strawberry cheesecake do you make the actual smoothie in the blender first then freeze? Since the creami isn’t suppose to do chunks

    • @ColleenChristensen
      @ColleenChristensen  Před 26 dny

      Yes! Well I do it with the immersion blender! but yes, I blend it first!

    I love mine! I don't do anything fancy. I make REAL frozen yogurt using 2% greek yogurt, honey or sugar, vanilla paste or cocoa powder. I made a great strawberry frozen yogurt using 16oz of 2% greek yogurt, 1/4c honey, and 30g of freeze dried strawberries - pulverized to a powder. Mixed it all together, froze overnight, spun it up until creamy. Delicious!

    We use it for ice cream because with lactose intolerance can make coconut milk based one that's delicious and versatile...
    I'm very interested trying it as morning smoothie. Typically am smoothie used small ninja chopper.
    Can of peaches totally works as is.... also can crushed pineapple.
    Coconut vanilla ice cream: 1 can coconut milk, 1/2 sugar, 1t vanilla

    My son’s fave- chocolate Fairlife. We add sf pudding for consistency.
    So easy, so good!!

    I’ve tried mint chocolate ice cream (and shamrock shakes) in many versions. They all end up like toothpaste. I’ll stick to buying that flavor. It was my dad’s favorite so it’s special to me.

    Cant hold up the creami? Too heavy?

  • @marylou2722

    Being dairy free it didn’t work for me. It was always icy, not creamy. I tried fair life milk and it broke me out- so sensitive. I sent mine back this week. I love the idea, just too much work for me right now.

    No surprise that ones with banana get thick. Banana is an emulsifier like egg.
