I'd buy the big brothers: the hercules 2.0 80's. They've won a few awards here in Holland and in Belgium because of the price and quality. A real bang for your buck. (I have 'm too, although that doesn't mean anything of course).

Very nice underrated speaker set. Not true reference monitors, but still great sounding extensions for home hifi! I also like the hercules xps 80 versions of this. This one has a sku of 4769226 and is extremely hard to find aywhere for sale. I found it on amazon, an dyet noon elese has it. Yet the older model 4769227 - the xps 80 is readily available. I would buy either one. But avoid the regular xps 60 version like the plague@
thanks - the bass was what I was interested in cos I currently have the creative a60s and their bass is almost non-existant making home producing impossible. How do these compare to the numark n wave 60? are they good for laptop producing? (I don't have a Hercules controller)

Hey, i have a question hopeully you could possibley help me :) btw before i start love the videos ive liked and subed for more :) soo basically i have a lil home studio, have a mic, stand etc, and a xexyx1002fx mixer, an have only been using the standard like 50 pound computer speakers, but id like to upgrade my price range is abou 100- 150, as i dont really have a clue about the technical side, im a pretty much self taught learn as i go trial and error kind of guy, what speakers cud u recomend?
How's the bass? Does distort (my bookshelf speakers do that, but they're not designed for bass)? Looking to wire it up to 2-channel amplifier for music listening and maybe some audio production.

I've been using these speakers for the past 4,5 years and they still work like a charm.
I am however, using a very wicked cable (these were 40 bucks at Tessatronic in Hengelo, Netherlands, where I live).
A bit of advice, if you order this (or already have), the supplied RCA cables are CRAP. C.R.A.P. Do not use them.

i bought them speakers yesterday THEY SUCK really wish i coud take em back to the store and get my money back i wanted to buy a different kinda speakers from the ones that i already got wich are AKAI RPM3 they are AWESOME AND VERY POWERFUL so if you guys are lookin' for a worthy pair of speakers go for the AKAI RPM3
