He didn’t lie. He didn’t answer the question. It’s clear that he had been speaking out of turn about the investigation and by his refusal to answer the question was likely to be speaking to the law firm Harris was referring to. But he didn’t admit that and therefore he didn’t lie. Harris was going for a home run by mentioning this specific law firm but she might have had an easier road if she had pressed him on whether or not he spoke to anyone besides this particular firm outside of the judges he admitted to doing so. That would infer unprofessional behaviour irrespective.
