This instruction made ALL the difference! I was struggling with Crow Poses and now it all makes sense. Thank you! Thank you!
I struggle with arm balances in general -- mostly total fear of face-planting. I've watched countless other "How to do crow" videos with no luck. Something clicked with this one, however, and yesterday, I actually got my feet off the floor for the first time ever. Not for long -- maybe 2-3 seconds, but that's 2-3 seconds longer than I've ever managed before! Thank you! Looking forward to trying some of your other "how to" videos!
I’m trying! Older dog learning a new trick- I’m 65 and determined to do the crow pose. Not a newbie to fitness but after many back surgeries, I’m learning my New Fitness.
I’m coming back to this one daily!
HOW IS IT GOING? I'm 13 and I love yoga even though people keep on saying it is somehow demonic and I find ridiculous that they're just haters
I did my first few crow poses today thanks to your tutorial. Thank you for being thorough. I don’t even do yoga haha. I will remember this day!
I just broke my nose
Ahhhh! I did it! (And I have spaghetti noodle arms! Lol) it was only about 4 seconds but I did the thing! I had watched a few other tutorial videos in this one was by far the most helpful for me! Thank you!
Beautifully explained and excellent explanation of the right balance needed. You truly looked like you were about to fly :)
The tip about looking ahead instead of towards the feet really helps!
I’ve been practicing yoga for years and this practice is still challenging enough to not be boring. Thanks for such a great flow.
I’ve been struggling with crow pose for a while, and just watching this once, and I’ve cracked it. Brilliant explanation 😊
With all these animals added together - early in the video brought a chuckle. Thank you for the beautiful lesson.
Love the explanation to practice it better and better. Thank you! 😊
Thank you ! I need more tutorials to cutt my limitations and your a best coach!
Thank you
I have been working on this pose for a while and your video made me get it in seconds. I didn't hold it for long but it was there.
Perfect explanation, concise, clear, beautifully demonstrated🤩
So beautifully explained. You make it look effortless…..you truly look like you’re flying :)
That was brilliant I finally managed following your instruction for a few seconds only but I've never even been close before😊
Best explanation ever! I’m amazed that you can speak so clearly without stopping and be in crow pose at the same time!
I love the way she explained the details of the movement!!!! I felt very inspired
Excellent video, answered all my questions on crow ️
This helped so much, I was bending my arms too much previously. I was able to hold it for a few seconds. Thank you!!
Loved this practice! Thank you for the special guests appearance at the end of it ❤
You are so great at teaching this! Thank you!
Thank you I'm going to practice this
literally thought I would never be able to this, spent months struggling. Watched 3 minutes of this video and listened to the explanations and got it. Thank you su much
Amazing! I teach a class for colleagues at work and we tried Crow for the first time today, I hadn't planned on teaching it today but we brought it in as a bit of play time. My cues could have been so much better so I found this, you're so on the ball 🏈🤘🏼
Thank you sooooo much for this! Eluded me embarrassingly ever time I try and give up...... Your fab instruction really helped, particularly the squeezing knees together tip. I just managed 2 x 5 second holds and my nose is still in tact 😆
Oh my god I did it in 5 minutes I love you!!!! I went from thinking that it would take a while just to get over the fear, to thinking it would take a while to get the strength just to pick up one foot off the floor, to just doing it with you (and a couple of blocks and a big cushion for reassurance...) but I did it like right now!!!! I held it for 2 seconds but feel positive enough about it to practise it again tomorrow now :) thank you so much.
I love your style of teaching!
I'm new to teaching myself and look to your videos as an example of what to focus on and how to convey it to students.
I was teaching Crow today, so I wound up here and incorporated some of your tips into my class.
At the end, I had a student let me know that in his 10+ years of practicing, he'd never achieved crow pose... until today.
Thank you.
Best tutorial! I was able to do it! Thank you so much!
Amazing, will try it out for sure, thankyou so much
Great instructional vid! Thank you!
Thank you, awesome video!!!🙏❤
Thank you! Instructions are clear and 100% work!
I’ve been out of practice for almost 1.5 years and was struggling to do this pose but your instructions helped! Thanks alot❤
You are so talented! Wonderful explanation! 🙏🏾
Great explanation. Thanks.
Great tutorial! ❤ First time that I really understood how to crow and it worked immediately. ❤❤❤
Excellent video, answered all my questions on crow ☺️
Thank you so much! Been struggling with crow (and generally arm balances) but just got nearer than I ever have before! Next time - pillow & block !
Love this!! Thank you
THANK you! So good instructions and advice! :)
A very nice and easy to understand explanation, helpful!!
The best way that anybody can explain❤️
Thank you for the tutorials
I've watched all your videos, great job! One day I'll try some of the exercises.
I just watched your video and could do the crow position and hold it for 10 seconds. I have no experience whatsoever and just started doing yoga (2 weeks now), but the courses I bought don't mention the correct position of the hands or the arms. Thank you so much, I'm very happy right now! I subscribed and am looking forward learning more!
You are bloody brilliant. My favourite online teacher. Your instruction is so clear and concise. I have recommended you to soo many people because you really are such an incredible teacher and you've helped me not only in my own practice but also in my teaching in terms of use of instruction because elike the end of this video I can get a bit tongue tied at times haha thank you so much Liv ❤️
What Mellory said! 100% agree!
Very helpful! Thank you for this tutorial! 🤗
This helped sooooo much !!!! Thank you
omg i did it and it worked thank you so much !
I did it!! Thank you!! Subscribed right away
Thank you for this, I'm struggling with crown pose long time 😂 I'll practice every day 😊
Such a lovely video❤️ I did it first time into the video🤗🤗🤗
Great instruction. Thank you. I know where I am failing now :)
Incredible tutorial. I'm not into yoga but it looked like fun to try. Your teaching method is brilliant. My very 1st try I held for 3 seconds, followed immediately by a 10 sec hold, then a 6 sec hold. It's a strong workout, after I catch my breath and have a cuppa I'll try again. As a 62 year old, it's fun. I'll give myself a while to perfect it then I'll try some of your other tutorials.
Great teacher!!!!!
I have attempted this. Fortunately, I put a pillow under my face first to alleviate the fear of the unknown feeling, and inevitable face pant! I held it for approximately 1.2 seconds ha ha ha I never thought of using the block, so that is going to be my next attempt! Great tip!
Wonderful explenation. I should finally be able to follow this clear guidance on my tomorrow's session. Thank you so much!
so how did it go?
Amazing!
Thank you ❣️❣️
Thank you
Video helped alot
I watched tons of video ,no one help me until I found you , thanks so much , do you have a video help me to do stand hans?
The tip about resting your head on a block was very useful. I have tried this pose without it, and fell over and knocked myself out :-)
I was definitely splatty posing before I watched this. Thanks a lot!
excellent
Also thanks for the pillow tip haha saved my from a broken nose maybe
I really find the excellent explanations to be very helpful. Thank you for your attention to a great explanation.
Awesome
Glad i found your channel - great way to learn Crow Crows 🤣
Спасибо
Great video for crow! Do you have a video for Flying Pigeon?
Thank you for these tutorials! I’ve been trying to understand and crow for years now, and I usually get discouraged, but the way that you explained it helped a lot.
Now I just have to toughen up my arms, they get bruised from my knees!
I'm really glad it helped! The arms definitely don't enjoy it to begin with but they toughen up with time.
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Jerry Roy instablaster =)
8/5/23 Done 💗
Thank you for the tutorial💗I’ve tried those tips however my hip dropped behind once I tried to lift the feet up. Otherwise, I fall forward instead of palm fall only. Do you have any suggestions? Thankyou!
I am trying to smallening the size of my waist, so thank you
this was super helpful, i finally managed to hold crow pose! But I do have a question - your hips are a lot higher than mine when elevated, does this just come with practise or is there something I'm not doing correctly? I lay almost horizontal wheres as youre more vertical
WOW i thought its a lack of strength preventing me. but shits all balance. the knee gripping together facing forward and what do you know balance works :) Thanks!
You're so cute and this video was so helpful!
helped me so fucking much. thank you
Hi I have really weak arms..what could I do to improve the strength in my arms while working up to this?
Wow I tried and your tricks helped me … thanks
But I can’t hold the pose for longer time … any trick for that?
Smallening should be a word because it just makes sense 😇
hi, is it ok if my arms are on the outside of my elbows and not directly behind them?
Im trying real hard to achieve this right now... Still no success. Im using pillows but somehow still am frightened of falling or my weak arms failing. Everytime i try i can help but to collapse. Any tips for weak begginers please?
Hi Liv, thank you for this tutorial, it's very clear! As a beginner, I just can't understand how to keep my knees stable on my arms. They keep wobbling out of place and I don't know how to deal with this problem...any tips?
Im glad it helped! The legs can wobble out of place when we lack strength within the inner thighs and core to be able to hold them steady! So with time and practice its most likely the wobble will become steadier but really try to focus on squeezing the thighs in towards each other to help!
@@Livinleggings Thank you so much, I'll definitely work on it!🥰
How do you protect your wrists.?
Arms in Crow are bent close to 90 degrees .. Crane has the straighter arms your showing and a lot harder. In Crow start with your knees in the armpits and shift forward to find your balance and learn what yoga hand lock is if you want to save your wrists.
Thank you, I was trying to find anyone talking about how to avoid hurting the wrists and no-one mentions it. I'll look into what hand lock is.
@@user-et3xn2jm1u In sanskrit, the language of Yoga it's called hasta bhanda or hand lock in English. And I agree it should be discussed in every yoga class
She did discuss it and she explained how to position your hands.
The first time I tried this I almost broke my wrists it felt like 😳
My knees keep sliding off my tris and my wrist hurt so much am I doing something wrong?
I just can’t get this one. But I’ve only been trying for 3 days
great tutorial! i will try it. also, forgive me if this is rude, but i couldn't tell if you are an extremely young looking 60 year old with white hair, or a 20 or 30 year old with prematurely white hair (or dyed white hair). not that that matters at all, it was just that i couldn't figure out which it was, it was an interesting mysterious ambivalence to this video.
😂 it’s bleached and dyed! And I’m 33!
@@Livinleggings Don't worry about that comment! You don't begin to look 60 in any way whatsoever!!!
Is it supposed to hurt the skin where the knees touch the arms? Anyone have tips for this? Don't know if I'm doing it wrong or it's just part of the move 😅
The block in front is helpful, but i can't figure out the distance.
Whats is the name of yoga
What's this good for?
I do some kind of balance, and i can hold that for a while, BUT my arms feel too bent....
Tried it but think I'm still too bottom heavy. Going to practice again tomorrow with the block
Hope the block helped! It's always more of a lean forwards than you think. Up and forwards not forwards and down 💪🏼 Good luck!
compare crow and crane !
Ouch wrists! Modifications for this?
My knees slip please i have tried everything 😢
