First there was 1-1/4” 4-link bars and later 1-3/8” heavy duty bars. Recent horsepower increases have led to the development of our XHD line of 1-1/2” & 1-5/8” bars. Customers have requested a XXHD line of full 1-5/8” bars.
At this point, we thought to ourselves… Can we come up with a set of end-all 4-link bars that will work on everything from Super Gas to Top Fuel? (If they used them.)
Introducing the new line of XXXHD 4-Link Bars, also referred to as the Big Black Chromoly 4-Link Bar kit. This colossal set of bars measure 3.5” in diameter and offer absolutely zero deflection by any horsepower range seen today or 15 years into the future.

You can make the smaller tubes stronger by inserting a strip of metal inside the tubes aligned with the direction of the stress, welded as much as possible and cut longitudinal and welded in the middle.

I did have 2” .250 wall lower links with 1.250” rod ends. I’ve bent the shank on the rod end before as well as bent both my lower links on the rear.

What happened to the dual lower 4-link bars that somebody said was all the rage about 20 years ago??? 2 1.625 OD x wall lower bars on each side of the car, you aint gonna bow those. I am guessing you probably wouldn't need an anti-roll bar either, the suspension would probably bind, but I'm not sure, I never tried it either.
I cant wait to see who you are going to sponsor with that four link shaft.
