i deleted social media a few months and it has had a huge impact on my life. i felt my mind being washed by all the things i was seeing and my mindset and work ethic suffering aswell. ever since i deleted it, my live has been 10x better. started my own, business, been the best student i’ve ever been, starting playing soccer competitively again, and starting going to the gym. i’ve just been living life to the fullest
without it. i’m only 19 years old so i’m excited to see where this takes me lol

something strange happened to me last week. So I was in school and a few of my classmates asked me if I have any social media and i told them i didn't. They looked extremely shocked. It was as if i was some otherworldly being sitting with them. After i told them i didn't have social media, they began asking me what I did outside of school, as if social media was the only possible thing anyone could do at home, and i told them that i'm usually outside playing basketball or riding my bike. They didn't react to basketball, but when i said i rode my bike they laughed, kinda weird, but anyways. They went even further and started questioning what i do when i'm not outside since i don't have social media and i don't text people that often. And when i told them that i'm just inside chilling with my family most of the time, they looked at me like it was weird to spend time with family. And ever since that day i kinda lost respect for those classmates. Kinda sad how people rely on social media as their only form of entertainment
I feel bad for them tbh. You ask those guys if they have any Interests or hobbies and most would say "idk". Just curious, what made you not join any social media?

Honestly before their were trends,popular dances or posting OF. Their were times where people would just go outside and play with friends but that doesn’t matter anymore now a days becuz people are so hooked on what they see online and keep their attention on that. Like for example a girl who is 10 years old wants to act or do what they see online and act older,and for boys they see what’s happening online too and do the same thing

just as the man in the video said there are people out there with voices normal people we will never hear from and for the longest time i’ve stayed silent but i’ve had the best views on certain things and in my opinion when i’m watching or anyone watching LLS instead of being stuck in my phone or stuck watching the video it’s almost as if it projects the world around me or makes me look at the world that’s around me instead of looking into one focused area just as rhino said our phones could be that one focused spot we’re looking at in a way and i just wanted to come down here and say that even though my comment may be lost in the crowd of thousands i feel at peace knowing i was able to speak for once and have atleast 1 person see my message. LLS thank you for everything you’ve done and said you make my vision more and more clear everyday and it makes me really strive for change in this world that we live in. i’m only 16 and my whole life i’ve been working so i could be a in a position to enlighten this generation and the next.

Fr sometimes my favorite moments in life are when I don’t have my phone in my face and I don’t got my air pods in and I’m just sitting in silence and actually being aware of things around me. It’s crazy how younger kids nowadays don’t have much moments like that anymore

I dunno when I deleted all social apps for a week for a social detox I felt so lonely and I think it's because I got used to talk to people over the phone so when that ability to communicate and interact with friends and other people got so addictive because we are social creatures and need this. All I'm saying is that when you ever downloaded social apps and start talking and interacting woth others it's almost impossible to stop cuz you fell like everyone gone missing or even dead. Yes you can meet in real life but not every one has the time or even wants to they prefer online and that's just how it is. I got my first proper phone when I was like 14-15 and I'm not a social media person and it's chill for me if ypu want to use the apps go ahead if not and you think you would feel better and do more stuff then try to do a social media detox don't put so much pressure cuz the more pressure you will put into it the harder it will be to accomplish the goal of felling better or doing more stuff

I had actually switched to a flip phone for a year (this was last year when I was 18). WHEN I TELL YOU “it was the best time of my life” I MEAN IT!! I did it because I wanted to focus on school, I went from being a B/C student to an A student. Not only that but I found myself to be so much more peaceful, it increased my focus, was more hard working and had less brain fog. All these amazing outcomes for replacing my iPhone for a flip phone?! It’s a game changer for sure!! I recommend 110%!!!!!!

dude I'm 12 and I hate how corrupted my mind is cuz of social media. I'll try my best to watch actual informational videos **ahem** like this one **ahem** and actually learn. I try to get my friends to do the same but their just stuck watch TikToks or shorts all day and it's just dumb. Sometimes I wish it was back before social media but also I like social media. When I have kids (in like 20-30 years lol) I'm not giving them a phone til their in 6th grade then I'll tell them "your gonna find alot of stuff you probably won't like and you'll probably learn a lot you don't wanna know and youll become really secretive" then give them it and tell them "please try not to go down the terrible path I did" then let them keep their phone.
There should be more organization with it. Apps for creators ONLY. Let non-entertainers do their posting and liking on a different app from entertainers. A flaw as a creator that I face is that even though I don’t follow anyone, I still have access to consume content when I don’t wanna. You’re prolly thinking “just don’t watch the content” that explore page is hypnotic but that’s the goal

I remember talking to my friends and they all explained how they were going to start posting videos and pics on social media when they leave high school. I deleted tik tok and I'm barely active on social media and tbh there's nothing there. I can conserve data and use my time wisely but my friends can't go 1 hour without tik tok and it's a pity. They always ask y I don't post, or y I don't take pics and videos to post online but I just told them that idgaf.
