I’ve been riding two wheels for 30 years and just got my wife a 2019 spyder F3S special edition, she is pissed, I literally can’t stay off her new ride it’s so much fun. No it’s not a bike and it’s not a car it’s a whole new animal and boy is it fun. Do people wave at me when I take it out, hell no but I ain’t got time for snobs but I’ll still be waving 👋. Best of all I get to go ride with my best friend, my wife. Peace

I bought an '08 Spyder with only 2920 miles on it about 6 months ago. I put about 2100 miles on it since. Haven't ridden anything since I was about 16, that was 32 years ago. Every time I ride my Spyder, I have a smile on my face and it's super fun. That's all I bought it for, to have a good time & relax and just enjoy myself. Not one problem all season with it. Only had to add oil & check tire pressure. Now I'm about to do some winter storage on it & some new tires and maintenance next Spring. If you're older, got bad knees or back, this is best option. Very safe, very fast. I've had mine up to 113 mph and over 95 many times, even with tires that are 11 years old. Stable, easy to ride, pretty safe if you know how to ride an atv. Get one, you'll love it. I prefer and bought a manual shift. Good value for older models, get something with low mileage for under $7 grand

Many people, maybe most, give up on Can Ams before giving them a fair shot. If you get an RT or RT Ltd and you're coming off of a fairly long history on two wheels, you're going to have your work cut out for you. That was my situation and it took me 5000-6000 to become one with the machine. I accomplished that by riding 100-150 miles per day practicing in the twisties in Northern Colorado. I was ready to kick it to the curb for months. But, once I got dialed in, man, there's nothing like it! I hooligan this thing like a sportbike; 23-35 MPH corners at 60 plus, hanging off the side and blitzing out. I suggest for like souls to try anything in the F3 lineup. They weigh less. a lot less, the rider sits inside it rather than on top of it like an RT. I tell people that a Hayabusa and a Daymac Go Kart played spin the bottle and my machine is their love child. The choice; a motorcycle or a Sportkart!

This one has aftermarket handlebars. Less than 5 seconds to 60 is fast enough. I bought a new F3-S a month ago and have already clocked up more than 2,500 miles. They take a bit of getting used to, but after almost 250,000 miles on motorcycles, I am going to sell my remaining two bikes, a Buell Ulysses and a Yamaha MT-01 because I don't want to ride them anymore. Why? I prefer my Spyder!

I took the Spyder class back in Aug. These are super fun to ride. Me and 2 other fellows with 5 women. None had motorcycle license or experience except me. every one 50 + in age. Noobees find these less intimidating than 2 wheels. Maint is weird on these. Real funky oil filter. about $150. filter , 6 O-rings and oil. That's if you do service yourself. Dealer, probably get you for another C-note. The F-3 didn't look to bad. Only a couple pcs of tupperware. The RT, forget about it, lots more plastic and you gotta take the right side mirror off. And I though only the Germans were this ridiculous . I still may get one, as they are a hoot. If Honda ever produces one, the Spyder will be in deep trouble.

I took the basic three wheel training course the middle of last month. There are a lot of big ego's out there. It sure as hell is a motorcycle. But, a lot more stable. You learn all the same stuff as a two wheel motorcycle to get your endorsement. So happy to sit on a stable bike.... Safely First! I have Cerebral Palay and had a blast on a 900cc Ryker. I will probably buy An RT Limited though.....The instructor was 100 percent correct. After the better part of a day learning how to use the Ryker I was tired. The RT Limited is the open road Cadillac of motorcycle riders. Semi Automatic, ABS, Stability Control, Heated Seats, And hand grips, plus a lot more. A true motorcycle that a disabled person can operate with confidence, and safety #1. Buy the way! Do you know what ego stands for? "Edging God Out!"

Depending on where you live and in my case Massachusetts, it is tagged as a motorcycle but so is a Polaris Slingshot. They are actually a “TRI-MOTO”. Not really considered a motorcycle by the true definition [of what a motorcycle is], but...... it NOW fits the broad category for registering it as such. It’s like if I remove the left front tire from my minivan, does it make it a motorcycle? I’ve built two custom three wheel vehicles and they are both registered as motorcycles because of the wheel count..... Fun.. oh, yea.. like a barrel of monkeys...... it’s all about the journey not the destination or what you use to get there.

Not only isn’t can am the only maker of three wheel motorcycles (or tricycles if you will), but can am also used to make normal 2 wheel motorcycles. The mx dirt bikes. So this video isn’t specifically about can am as much as it’s about three wheel bikes

Dennis Morris not a pretty motor to look at.
That is why they put a shroud over them.

@@Paul49myspace clearly you didn't watch the video or you don't know what a motor looks like. The motor is low in the frame and not covered. Can see it and the trans clear as day.. it's just not chrome and unreliable..
