This animation is far from perfect. It's super experimental and I rushed some parts to finish it on time. Some shots really annoy me, but I'm generally happy with what I've created.
I've always wanted to make an action animation with my OC Soural and this contest was a perfect opportunity :D

The story here is simple: After wandering for hours through the desert, Soural begins to experience strange hallucinations.
This has deeper correlations to his backstory. I didn't include more of it, I was afraid it would make the animation too confusing (and there wasn't enough time)

-Blender (95% of the animation, even some effects)
-Adobe After Effects (for small corrections, effects/lights/blurs I couldn't add in Blender)
-Krita (some parts of the background)

I struggle to join the competition, because the extended deadline announced by At Lojart ended on July 15th at 23:59cest, but according to the website the contest has already ended at 11:59cest.
I've messaged Cloudkid via e-mail, I hope this issue will be solved. I'm so worried right now :( ,
and on top of everything CZcams ruined the quality of the video.
CloudKid is very kind, I am sure they will understand! Especially with talent like this!!! And it wasn’t supposed to end yet! I’ll be praying that this all gets sorted out because this is incredible!
And even with CZcams’s horrible quality, with your talent, you’re for sure still gonna place!

You have no idea how often this happens to him.
Insanely hard animation, the colours slowly changing to indicate he’s in a heat induced hallucination, and finally, the nonchalant way he epically claws one’s eye out before his end. Almost feels like yeah, he knows he’s dying, but he’s not going to freak out and perish panicked. That’s his way of beating his inevitable end in a ways
