I worked at a shelter and we do a TNR program on the campus and we had one old man, his name was Mojo. He was a black cat a yellow eye, big ol claws and a mean look to him, he was skinny too (Don't be fooled, everyone always fed him too much wet food because of his charm!). He looked so mean, but he was so incredibly sweet. He loved to be held and pet and loved on. He lived like a king. One day, we found out he had cancer.
The shelter was not equipped to help out (because we got our money from the city and they saw us as unimportant and not worth the money) and plus, he was old. I was out of work the day they had to put him down due to his condition. He will forever be in my heart, rest in heaven Mojo ❤

I love this island, but it's sad that it may not be here for long as the people who used to live their were old and are moving and or passing on from old age. I hope some people move their to take care of these cute silly kitties bc it would be sad to see this place go. You might be thinking of Ao island (Aoshima, another cat island) which has a smaller population of less than 10. It looks like Tashirojima is doing better in comparison although still not thriving.

The level of skill displayed in this video is so insane. Speaking Japanese, filming and editing the video and adding visual effects, 2D drawing and animating, 3D modeling, just incredible stuff. Your speed paints are always my favorite- you intercut them with the footage of the things that inspire you to draw them, and there’s always a bit of a story to em. It makes them really unique amongst speed paints here on CZcams, and Minty’s Adventure is just super wholesome in general. Super stressful day ahead of me tommorrow- really needed this. I will always be jealous of Australians innate ability to materialize within the confines of Japan.
It's not quite innate, it takes a solid b8t of learning. Materialising with Japan is madagory learning in most primary schools, but some people just never get the hang of it. The real problem is when you dont know the language and can't figure out how to materialise back. I lost a brother that way last month, he still hasn't been found.
With Neytirix it's either nightmare fuel to its most gruesome extent or the fluffiest wholesome balls of cute. There is no inbetween.
What about the fluffy cat that could turn into a bunch of jagged teeth by yawning??

I’m actually so curious about some of them, some of the black cats are soooo rusty, I wonder if it’s due to diseases or really just sun tan, because that cat in the end eating a fish is one of the brownest black cats I’ve ever seen

I spent all day getting garden supplies and when I came home, I was greeted by the three lvl 24 Cat guards that always keep the entrance to our garage secure ^~^ this video of more cats only brought a bigger smile to my already good day, thank you so much for your work Neytirix

I have this on watch later list and havent removed it, Ive just been rewatching again and again at random times. It's just- the music, the cute kitties, the art, the bits of humor at seeing the jobs of the cats above their heads (and other video game aesthetics) and the number of cats you had to draw increasing then the cat overlord dragging you to see even more cats. Its just so wholesome and cozy
Giving them lil titles, levels and health bars was such a simple but good idea ! I smiled at every single name.

It takes going through many of life's busy stresses to truly appreciate the simple things. Thanks for posting this, it's very nice, rather than consuming endless media or worring about today, tomorrow and 9 years ago, to sit back and enjoy what we have and explore it.
Most of the cats on the island has been fixed ( neutered and such), except for i think some 10 cats that were hidden away. By some well meaning people, sadly it had to be done as Neytirix said. The elderly people living on the island has a difficult time caring for the cats.
I love the lighting here... aaand I have nothing else funny to say, let's get to the point:
