That wasn't acceleration. Hima Das slowed down the least compared to the other runners who decelerated more through tiredness.

@@kingofthejungle7566 no not popularity. She is most people guessed cis genered with high levels of testerotone. To compete in 400m she need to take hormone pills, and may run into many problems. Thats why she is taking part in 200m.
@@kingofthejungle7566 Because of her injury (bad back), coaches wanted to lighten her load. That is why they switched her to 200m. 400m demands higher endurance.
Once she is healthy and fit, coaches plan to switch her back to 400m.

@vardhan mhatre her PB in the 100m is 11.63 and PB in 200m is 22.88. Before this so called “injury” she ran 12.01, Neither of those times qualify as fast enough for the Olympics standard.
@@Hengel_Andrews you did not read the article I shared .Its fine that her current personal best times did not qualify for Olympics, but she was not even fully fit to try for it, she could have failed to qualify even if she was fully fit but she was not fully fit is my point . Hima das sustained a hamstring injury during 100m heats of 'National inter state athletics championship' because of which she pulled out of 100m and 4×100m finals . That 12.01 was before finals . Yet to recover fully she ran in 200m but finished fifth , so she missed Tokyo . And why do you think she can't get injured , even after she is actually injured .
