Americans have short memories. They forget what a disaster the country was when Trump was President. We were in the middle of a pandemic with hundreds of thousands of people dead and millions infected. All because of his incompetence in preventing its spread. We need to be reminded of this every day.
Why did we let TV pundits convince us that it is no big deal to ignore the 14th amendment? Why do TV pundits tell us that it is better to defeat the moronic orange buffoon at the ballot box instead of enforcing constitutional law? Why do TV pundits tell us that we have better odds of defeating Trump at the ballot box in the face automated purging of voter rolls, increasing voter ID requirements, reduced access to polling places, criminalized drinking water distribution for intentionally created long lines of voters, gerrymandering, refusal to abide by court ordered redistricting, frivolous challenges to certified election results, criminal harassment of poll workers, encouragement of militants to "monitor" ballot drop box locations, inciting political violence to halt the peaceful transition of power, attempts to covertly steal voting machines, intentionally hacking voting machine software to "prove" that it is corrupt, incessant legal challenges to long precedented voting rights legislation, and relentless media conditioning intended to make people lose faith in voting infrastructure.
Forget the 14th amendment, a guardrail to preserve democracy, let's take our chances with the ballot box instead. Let me clue you all in. This isn't your grandad's ballot box. You live in MAGA world now. They are not playing by the agreed upon rules.

Don't leave out the biases in real estate. My son and his wife just sold their home. They had to take down everything that revealed they were black. She had beatiful black paintings and a hallway wall full of pictures of family members and family events. All that had to be removed. However, they were blessed to get the asking price. The house was sold in 4 days. 😊
