A$700k to over A$1M houses up for grabs in these new super suburbs 😮 wow that’s great news for the people who are now homeless in Australia 😂

How is $700K to $1M affordable. We've lost it at this point. All my friends who have parents can afford a home but me on a $200K income cannot even get a proper 2 bedrooms apartment due to my borrowing power as I'm single. You no longer can afford a home if you work hard or study and go to uni.
My parents no longer want me so I have no family anymore due to my sexual preference. It feels so unfair 😢😢

More and more affordable options huh?
Guess the sales lady forgot to mention houses themselves cost 200k to build in 2019. Now the average house costs 500k to build despite material supply stabilising for over 2 years.
Housing quality has gone down the hill since 2010. Guess this is what happens when you give building companies ability to land bank, then stage release land sell land then build rubbish on it. Instead of forcing them to be competitive at actually fking building

A$1M affordable housing with no trees or parks in a radius of 100km, but there's a shopping centre. Sounds good....

An interesting thing you'll notice is , houses on land are getting smaller .
It's like when you go into the suoer market and see an item on the shelf, like bar of soap for example which over the years has gone up in price , but is now two thirds the size it eas 20 years ago !
I live in an older suburb of melbourne .... Lets call it a working mans area , nothing posh , but our house was just a very average medium sized 3 bedroom house , we considered it a bit on the small side at the time , but it's what we could get for the money we had, the in block is a tad over 500 metres , but around our area 700/800, even 900 metre properties are not uncommon , and these where working man nothing special homes.
Have a look at many of the new estates around melbourne , some of the blocks are as little as 250 metres and the houses are crammed in like sardines ..... Omg ! You will see mid 450m in some , but above that more often than not you are moving up into a higher price bracket , there is the odd exception , but on the whole by majority , you are paying more but getting less.
And i might add houses are way over valued , at the same time government policy has led to the cost of building houses skyrocket yo the detriment of everyone except the Elite.
The government is full of it , they build 2 million houses by tomorrow, but the vast majority of Austraians will not be able to afford them.

There's a reason Craigieburn is still relatively 'cheap'. I'm surprised Port Adelaide is listed as it actually is vibrant, interesting and great location and not cheap. Craigieburn and Port Adelaide are polar opposite in vibe, location and services.

housing prices are still rising according to the weekly local real estate's junk mails that is compared to the half year ago, the prices showed on it has risen more than ten %. and they are looking for a housing stock. and i can see the sold stickers everywhere within a couple of weeks on the market. the way of being richer is still buying a property, i guess, and this is the current people's volunteer trends. no one can stop them having the trends like this. they are happy and all of them are happy. fortunately, next year we will definitely see the risen prices more than what we have this year.

Anna, cutting through the noise of real estate developer hype with sharp precision. The segment was a typical sales pitch: “great place to buy and invest.” You know the drill. But when animated slides went all over the shop, Anna wasn’t having any of it. She was sharp, prepared, and ready to dance with the unexpected.
Anna’s no mindless prompter reader. She’s a pro, able to adapt on the fly, making sense of the chaos and delivering with finesse. Watching her work, you can tell she’s got that rare blend of poise and insight.
Here’s to you, Anna. May Sunrise be just one chapter in your story. The world needs more voices like yours, cutting through the clutter and bringing something real. Keep at it, and I’m sure we’ll see you shining even brighter soon.
