This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we do everything we can to try and progress with the Geo Archon quest without using a non-catalyst character... Curse those 2.7 patches.

bro while i was doing that quest, there was a thunder storm. AND IT TOOKE ME LIKE 10 TIMES EVEN IF I HAD AN ARCHER because i got struck by lightning over and over and over again
for anyone that is ever having stamina problems, i suggest -
- 2/4 characters on your team being anemo (decreases stamina consumption by 15% + increases movement speed by 10%)
- including rosaria in your team at night (18:00-6:00) increases party movement speed by 10%
- at character ascension 1, having barbara’s skill enabled decreases stamina consumption by 12%
- at character ascension 1, having diona’s skill enabled increases movement speed by 10% and decreases stamina consumption by 10%
-- the following decrease stamina consumption by 20% --
- gliding? have amber/venti in your team
- sprinting? have kaeya/razor/kazuha in your team
- swimming? have beidou/kokomi in your team
- climbing? have xiao in your team

You can put up teleport waypoint in co-op btw, you just can't put it up when you're not the host (so you can't, say, join the player who unlocked a location before you did and put teleport there, but you totally can put teleport while exploring your world with a friend)

This series is so entertaining, I love that you actually do everything you possibly can to avoid using other weapon types because there are a lot of channels who do these kinds of videos but don't take it seriously at all so it's pretty boring, unlike Swords and Spells Only. Thanks for putting yourself through all this pain to stick to the rules of the series and thanks for making awesome videos ^-^
There's always 1 more oculus than necessary for each region. It just chills in your inventory

If the title didn't say anything, I would have suggested to do one of chongyun's hangout. His special dish restores 80 stamina. Would have been quicker than maxing the geo statue of the seven.
Idk when you unlock the Rice Pudding recipe, but it restores 100 stamina so I would've suggested that one

I wonder if you could use amber's passive to reduce gliding stamina consumption? Theoretically you wouldn't have to straight up USE her and just get her on your team, but maybe the tallents count also
It's also possible to get the last 3 needed anemoculus. Glide from Dragonspine to the one near Dawn winery and from Stormterror's domain tower to both ones in Stormterror's Lair. The only one that's impossible is the one north from Mondstad.
That anemoculus above the swirl in Stormterror one is so hard, the same of the hidden anemoculus of a Pillar of no entrance except if I am above to fall down to anemoculi

This is hands down one of the best series along with swords only, your innovative ideas to overcome these challenges are so funny and painful at the same time, I respect you
You should unlock the 9 pillars of peace with all the Stones of remembrance you got from the Geoculi because that can get you like 100+ primo gems from all the chests and also the quest gives you 50 on completion.

Hm maybe because doing a game challenge comes with zero stakes (worst case scenario you just don’t progress), while taking up challenging tasks irl puts one at risk of publicly embarrassing oneself at best and losing material goods or health at worst.

I saw many weapon only channels but i do believe yours is the best, they try yes but if it didn't work they give up and cheat while you try literally everything even if it takes weeks (flashback to the electro totems 💀) even try glitches which makes the challenge far more entertaining

This is what makes Java a legend. I've been watching other only series (which were inspired by Swords Only as well), but most (not all) of them would end up cheating. Not that I fault them for giving up, it just shows the level of dedication that Java has. Only Noblies and Moosashi can compare imo.
Java did say multiple times that if you want to do a weapon only challenge you shouldn't inflict the same pain on yourself that he did and just cheat x)
this is why java is the og weapon only guy, theres a lot of other doing it, bows only, polearm only but i doubt theyd all spend sm time and effort doing so, rather just use some other character, you're the best java
