I’m growing out my facial hair for the first time and this helped me so much. My mustache was always getting in the way when I would eat but now it’s perfect thank you so much sir
You've helped me a lot and prevented me from making major mistakes with trimming my beard. My beard is patchier than yours but overall the natural lines are similar and you're video how to trim a V shaped beard was a God send. Thanks man! I may grow it longer now just to see what happens
Facial hair shaping guru. Your videos are so good and you explain everything so clearly
Soooo needed this. Barbers always cut my mustache short and I'm been needing insight on how to trip it myself to keep it full WITH my beard. Thanks.
Watched a lot of tutorial but this one is actually helpful. Thanks man.
The "smile technique" seems amazing. I'll try on my next moustache trimming session! :D
Thanks for all of the beard videos, they have been very helpful
Been waiting for this for so long. Thanks Greg!
This is the only time I managed to trim my mustache neatly, thanks to you!
Thanks so much you just changed my life with these tips.
That smile trick was gold!! I'd always trimmed the middle and then the sides. Will be trying it!
Thanks for the tips Greg!
exactly what i was looking for. Thanks Greg
I had one of those trimmers in the 2000s. I've also adopted George's trimming technique it's ingenious. Great video, Greg!
Yes, tried the same method and it was very helpful
Thanks Greg I've been trying to clear the forest for years. ..you vid really helped me out
Great video Greg! Thank you for sharing
Nice, after hitting my 30’s I started growing a beard and have often sought out detailed tips in grooming. This is by far the most clear and helpful I’ve seen on this subject. Thanks a lot!
i know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks Greg, just the video I was looking for. Will be using the smile technique for sure
Great video! Superb instructions. Thanks very much.
Just wanted to thank you for this. While my brother is a mix of Grizzly Adams and ZZ Top, I’ve never grown facial hair until quarantine! Yes, I’m 55 and was clueless. Had bought a trimmer, but want sure exactly how to do it.
This video really helped me out.
I pretty much use the exact same technique for mine it's taken me a year to master it & figure out what work's for me. Great informative video
Very well explained. Thank you.
Thank you! This is what I really needed.
Thanks for this information...I thought that is how it's done but you confirmed it!.. keep up the great work!
I didn't realise many other people have this routine when trimming their moustaches, I've been doing this for about 2 years now and it's much better than getting food in your tache or having a more potent smell after eating dairy.
VERY helpful video! Thank you!
This is the best video on mustache trimming
Awesome. Looks fantastic.
Greg - you’re an absolute legend! I’ve grown my beard for the past 3 months based on your instructions. Definitely the best guides out there. Many thanks and keep up the good work. Sending best wishes from U.K. South Wales 🏴
Thank you, sir! And I always like knowing where my viewers are from. 🙂👍
@@GregBoswell428 trimmer name kya hai...
I just tried it out and it worked beautifully! Having said that, I did leave my moustache slightly longer; my beard is a bit longer than yours, and taking my moustache up to the lip line makes it look a bit too thin compared to my beard. Anyway, thanks for the video, Greg!
Great video, thanks for making it.
Always big fan of your useful videos sir !
Thank you so much!
Very informative, thanks!
Finally an actual trim of the mustache and not a just a removal 👍 th
Thank you!! Your videos are the bomb!!
Best 'stache video online! Thanks, Greg.
Thank you
Great help man thanks
Thanks for posting this
Thanks a lot for the tutorial brother 👍
First time beard grower and first time I ever had to trim my mustache. I did it basically the same way! I came here to see the best way to trim a mustache. I appreciate the content! Liked and subscribed!
Thanks man, I appreciate that!
Love the whimsical style of your presentation.... Something of a Chael Sonnen mixed with Billy Zane. Keep up the good work!
Hey man, new to your videos, thank you so much for the tips!
informative and funny - I definitely don't want "nose coming out of my hair"
Good, very good Greg 👍 Big Thanks (my teacher)
For the past 20 years I have been clean shaved. After watching your tutorial I took a decision of trying at least moustache, if not full grown beard. I really loved all your tips, and found very useful. Now I will continue moustache rest of my life . Thank you so much Greg for sharing wonderful knowledge. God bless you!
Well, how'd it go
Thanks for the great video.
YEAHHHHH ANOTHER ONEEEE. I'm a simple man. I see Greg's videos. I click.
My facial hair always benefits loool. THANK YOU GREG!
That's fantastic! Thanks!
I like you dude. You're alright.. Thanks for the pointers! Happy New Year, brother!
Thanks man!
Thank you so much for this video. I trim my husband's moustache and beard, and I couldn't figure out how to get the moustache to look good. This video helped me quite a bit. I never thought about getting my husband to smile so I could get the right angle. The way you did your moustache is exactly the way I want his to look. I'll try it and let you know how it worked. :-)
Yes, please do!
Very helpful! Thumbs up 👍🏾
"CLEAR THE FOREST" Hahahahahahaha! Love it! Great video. I'm gonna try your method. Gotta share this on the Facebook page. Thanks Greg!
Thanks for sharing! Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Your beard is filling out nicely dude.
George is great! Nice vid!
Thank you!
Helpful vid!
3 am and I’m cutting my beard
Ah shit here we go again
you have a great looking mustache man !
thanks dude
Good video 👍
what a great video
Thanks
The "smiling technique" must really work because I've seen several guys do it.
I actually happen to have the same model and have had it for a while too haha
Thanks dad
I straight up busted laughing @5:12
Great video btw
any advice on how to trim my moustache for a wider look on my lips? I did it a few times but it was just out of luck. I have decently big lips so its not like theyre small or anything. I just find it better looking with some more width.
I feel pressured to trim my mustache. You and George Bruno covered the same topic the same day...😊👍
We did? I almost feel like I should apologize to him. 😅😅
I can't believe I happened across a video of someone using the same beard trimmer that I actually have. I have had this thing for many years without having to replace it. The blades have never dulled, and it cleans with a rinse of water. I love head shaving, beard grooming, and beard growing tips. Videos like this are fun to watch.
I have the same one as well, I believe it's a Remington PG526
I feel like any minute hes going to say "soy el babo" 😂😂😂
11:31 "You don't want nose sticking out of your hair" :D But wow, definitely going to try this method!
Yeah, I wondered when someone was going to pick up on that. I think I've done that on more than several occasions 😅.
Congratulations, you're the first one to point it out on this video. 😅👍
@@GregBoswell428 I see now that I just didn't scroll back enough in the comments. But still, I'm definitely trying this method next time I trim the stache. Do you have to deal with hairs that grow in on the upper lip? The sides of my mustache basically are already in my mouth as soon as they start growing. It's another thing I've never seen a video dealing with, aside from your'with the grain' as opposed to against technique.
Nicely done Sir! I just hit pause in case you want to go fetch your brush.
😂😂😂
do you recommend going against the grain to trim? doesn't it get all the hairs to the same length?
Almost wanted to hand over my glass of water through my screen so that you could spit out the hair, haha!
by the way don't lose the charger of your remington! I accidently threw mine away and found out that they don't make them any longer (mine was barely 2 years old) Anyway, great video man. Beard on! (y)
I would gladly have taken it 😅
I just let my nose hairs grow out long enough so I can bite them off to trim them.
😂😂😂
Good way to pick your nose at the same time
We both have the same look - bald head, exact same beard. What's super interesting, is the single white hair in the middle of your moustache. I pluck mine :)
So, I'm 55. I've been trimming a mustache for a while. I respect your opinion. I don't know everything. Happy to learn something new. Google "the Right Way to Tie Your Shoes."
Thank you very much! I took your suggestion and watched it. I'm curious, why did you want me to see it?
@@GregBoswell428 I don't know. Perhaps you're the type of person that likes to do things right. When I re-read it I didn't know why I wrote it. Thanks for your great videos!
How long did it take initially to grow your beard to that length I’m 27 been growing mine for about 3 months and it’s still only like a half inch at its longest
Nice vid
Never seen the smile trick for the straight line , thanks
Yeah, I got that from George Bruno. Even though I have to approach it a little bit different.
My trimmer is panasonic but i cant get my mustache cut even when i use it...can help me with another method usind scicors?
How do you trim the end hairs on mustache?
Remington trimmers are often made in China. I have one and rarely used it until I grew a moustache. The trimmer that I have is rechargeable and came with several attachments. It has not been used much but recently I charged it up, not once, but several times overnight. After my last outreach to Remington I spoke with a representative who told me that it would no longer hold a charge since it was worn out. So now I have to deal with replacing this trimmer
They're not expensive at all
11:30 You don't want nose sticking out of your hair?? 😁
hahhaaa...that was funny! :)
at 11:30
You think women don't notice if you have nose sticking out of your hair, but they totally do...
Well, I don’t.
I should try to trim my staches.
Can I use hair clipper for moustache?
Great tutorial, but personally I like your mustache fuller with a beard that size.
How do you trim the top under the nose?
How do you straight your beard please tell me
Help, I’m growing a simple medium beard and have not trimmed my sole patch in 170 days. My wife is complaining about kissing and the hair covering my lower lip. Has anyone trimmed or shaved about 1/16” below the lower lip? Bad idea? I’ve been married 20 years and only started a beard since vivid-19.
Thanks , I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and have found them all really helpful. My beard grows much the same way as yours so you’re my go to guide for beard maintenance. I do have a question though ! I’ve been told that to give a more natural look to your moustache you should angle the scissors horizontally and snip upwards into the hairs. Is this something you’ve ever tried ?
Forget about using Remington products. I had a $ 20.00 trimmer which was made, of course, in China. It came with several attachments. I rarely used it except to trim my sideburns. It died on me a couple of years ago when it failed to hold a charge. I contacted Remington and they told me " .... oh well, it is not meant to last and you should go buy another one " I have been shopping around and there are a host of trimmers to choose from but I think that I am going to go to a local retailer and buy a Wahl trimmer. These people have quality made trimmers and as I recall they are made in the USA.
Yeah, I usually use Wahl myself
My beard looks a lot like yours. How long should I trim the corners of the mustache? Should they be short, or rather should they be left to grow down into the beard?
Me personally, I trim it to match the rest of the beard. I don’t want to have to keep up with a mustache groomed outside of the beard
It's been four weeks since I shaved and my first beard attempt ever, mostly because of my career. I notice my mustache is way darker and heavier then my beard and my beard has plenty of gray or silver in it. How do I offset that dark black mustache look?
I don't think I would want to.
What about the top part of the moustache?
10:50 Ouchh... I hated the feeling of sharp hairs inside my nose after cutting them.
That’s why I prefer using eyebrow tweezers to just pluck those hairs. That way, I can blow my nose safely
I used to do that but it causes pimples to form in my nose when I do
I swear I saw you in golds gym like last week (in Virginia) lol.
Ha ha! Nope, not me
A dopplegreger!
My mustache in my beard all seems to be entangled. I can't tell where one starts and one ends
I always did something similar until some people online told me to have a handlebar you should grow out to the line of the upper and bottom lip meeting. What is your opinion about this?
Handlebar moustaches look nice but I don’t want the upkeep on them
@@GregBoswell428 And what would that upkeep look like?
Stop cutting it - power through the awkward stage and grow it out. You’ve got such an awesome moustache, a ‘King George V’ style would look fantastic.
@Dan Paul I came reaaaal close to thinning mine out like Greg did but after I combed it down I was looking at it and thought you know what it looks fine when it's combed.
11pm on a monday night lockdown. My job is fucked, I'm behind on the rent, and the wife is gonna leave me, To get myself back on track, I'm sat here watching a fella trim his nose hair, God help me
Sorry to hear that you're having a hard time.
who else was "smiling" when he was to trim his beard LOL T_T
CLEAR THE FOREST!!! Hahahahaahha!
