    Wow this made me a bit emotional. If an AED that's sits on the wall can help save lives in that home/business AND people that are close by this is groundbreaking. It needs to be everywhere.

    This is a great idea! It's the next generation Public Access Defibrillation program. The main concern is getting the public to see the benefits of this concept and then interested and excited enough to want to learn CPR/AED. It can be done.
    I am excited to be a part of this effort.

    Should be free though. Should be placed at bus stops as well, should be given to people for free at a disruption at a certain distance from populated areas. Should be placed at all apartment leasing and lounge front doors, should be given to landlords for free.

      We look forward to the day when AEDs are as commonplace in our society as cell phones and fire extinguishers! Avive Connect AEDs are strategically distributed to hundreds of volunteer CARE Team members in our 4 Minute Cities, getting more AEDs into more places for quicker response times.

    Neat idea, but i dont have confidence in this product being as avaliable or accessible as shown in the video, 911 searching for aed's on top of all the work they are already doing is just unlikely, but aiming the price is comparable to the likepak I'm sure people will start having them in their first aid kits or at businesses.

    • @avivesolutions
      @avivesolutions  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Andrew, thanks for viewing and offering your feedback. Two quick points of clarification: 911 operators don't "search for AEDs." Rather, they're empowered to request one - that's it. Regarding the price, why strive for a cost similar to one of the most expensive AEDs on the market? Stay tuned for much more information in the weeks and months ahead! Thanks again for your interest!

      As a 911 dispatcher knowing this will integrate with the likes of software such as rapidsos that we already use and can request an AED at the push of a button since rapidsos has the location already would take mere seconds. I’m excited to see it happen

    Ah yes. Makes perfect sense. Get these in the wrong hands of someone and the responder safety gets worse! Great thinking.

    • @avivesolutions
      @avivesolutions  Před 2 lety

      Not to worry- AEDs use smart technology to analyze and determine shockable rhythms. Since AEDs only deliver a shock to patients in cardiac arrest, they are safe to use by non-medical people with limited training.
