@@moa3821 True!! But Thor at his current weight is pretty low in bodyfat. Abs showing through all the time at that weight is still pretty unique among strongmen.
ofc hes stronger, hes much taller and bigger. A truck pull more wieght then a small truck. In powerlisting he would be copletly useless where he have to divide weight with lifting weights..
He is even heavier than the current worlds strongest man! Unreal!
Because of height and frame. That's the genetic key to everything, and your tendon size/strength. You could juice yourself to the gills and you'll never be the weight of a tall large frame that basically only eats normally. His child will grow up with amazing genetics too.
Losing that weight has probably added about 10 years to his life.

He's also not struggling near as bad when speaking as far as being able to breath. He seems to be able to go for longer times talking without having to pause and take a break for a minute to catch his breath. Kinda like Brian and Eddie do when they speak.

Good genetics for sure. But also 100% commitment, he basically can spend all his time on getting in shape since it is his job. It makes a huge difference being able to train many hours per day with the best coaches for training and nutrition!
it is i think mostly an attidute...he has the mindset of a strongman..the mindset to achieve everything he wants. the discipline. thats the key! he eats perfectly following a plan,trains following a plan. and having professional coach(es) and a team. there is nothing given by luck or coincidence.thats why he looks like that and achieved it.

Look at thors parents and thor when he was young.. There is no such a thing as freak genetics. Even if he would have a lil bit better genetics, it is NOT what made him look like that. Only weak people always, use the genetic excuse, just because they don't have the mindset.

Thor did not lose any weight for the last 2 months if he is not lying about the weight today. But he visibly looks leaner. So he gained muscle as well. That first year was just him letting the body rest from the chemical abuse. Now he is blasting hard again.
Thor has taken the correct approach to this and is looking great

I first saw Eddie's video around a year ago about the whole cheating situation, and only saw his side. After watching a lot of Eddie's and Thor's videos since then, Thor is just such a nice and humble guy.

Damn insane I remember everyone trashtalking your boxing in the beginning. You have shut everyone’s mouth. One of the craziest transformation I’ve seen. I’m a bit scared for eddie now
If you start a new sport or pretty much anything even a job, you need to start it slowly to learn how everything is done correctly. Speed comes after. This is something trashtalkers overlooked.
Also he's starting to look pretty solid at it. He still jumps a lil bit while punching and seems a bit tense at times, but his footwork is getting better, his movement is becoming way more efficient, and his punches look sharper. Also conditioning is on point. Plus he's keeping his hands up, knows how to bring the hands back to his guard after punching, and seems to be understanding how to use his reach to maintain distance. When you look at Eddie, he's doing all wrong, his punches are terrible and he has no defense, he's just jumping all over the place slapping the mitts up with his hands on his pocket and his chin up in the air. For what's been shown, I'd be very surprised if Thor doesn't get the W.

@@Sacrifice-Paid only reason the deadlift wasn’t done in competition was because of covid, he had planned to do it in bahrain before covid. And if he was going to do the deadlift he had to do it in his gym because he didn’t want to stay that big and wait for covid to go away
@@Sacrifice-Paid Thor was contracted to lift 501 in comp in Bahrain, April. COVID then scuppered those plans, so he had no choice but to pull it away from competition since he was peaked & ready to pull 501.

Such dedication is an inspiration. To go from 205kg to lose 50kg isn't easy and in a year is insane (in a good way). The last part where he mentions force-feeding to reach a certain goal for a strongman sounds like an everyday nightmare compared to his new diet which he CLEARLY is enjoying :) Such an awesome guy. @@Mpacitto Eddie hasn't learned a thing. Hands by his waist, looping punches, crossing his feet, leaning forward, moving in straight lines, looking away when hit, etc. He's doing everything wrong. Eddie thinks he's an elite pro who doesn't need a high guard, despite not having any head movement and dreadful footwork. He wasted a full year larping as a boxer, while Thor took his time and learned the basics. Like any newbie, not bothered by the massive ego that's holding Eddie back.
Also, Eddie is speeding up his footage. He's not fast, his videos are skipping frames.
