I love that philosophy of taking at least one day for yourself a week, I also love the philosophy of having a "healthy cheat." I train like a maniac and eat like a dietician, so every two weeks when I get groceries, I give myself a cheat day. But, my cheats are equal parts healthy and bad for you, lol.
In Canada, we have this California-style burrito place called Quesada, and on cheat day I get 2 Large Roasted Veggie burritos, 1 pint of iced cream usually Ben & Jerry's, an entire bag of chips, and 1L of San Pelligrino; When I've trained with trainers, they've gotten upset because those burritos aren't unhealthy but they're damn good and that's what I crave every two weeks. Though sometimes I'm craving a 5-gallon bowl of poutine with Montreal Smoked Meat in it, I'm a big guy, 6'6 265, so I can eat it no issue.
Very true. *If* we eat strict 6 days, I also agree that our body deserves a cheat day to complete the week.

If you don't know, it was Dr. Terry Todd who inspired Thor with those words. When Thor ended up being the last place (10th) in his first ASC in 2012, he was the one who said it to Thor and inspired and encouraged him that you can win the ASC one day.

I love that you are choosing to share so much of yourself. I know you are actually very gentle and pretty private. I find on cheat days I eat so much that I do get a calorie spike, but then I crash and want to sleep. I love naps also. Do you ever regret the cheer days? Edit... I'm not seeing any sweets? Maybe your just sweet enough?

He eats 6 days very strict and gives the 7th day to the body to enjoy with cheat meals. And he also sleeps well. Daily going to bed at 11.00 and getting 8 hrs of solid sleep which helped him a lot. He does eat sweets I saw it live yesterday.

*YES - I LOST ALL RESPECT FOR EDDIE.* I started as a fan of both (mainly Eddie) but after he used charity as a weapon to try and get the public to not only “attack” Thor for not accepting immediately, but also to try and degrade Thor’s character as if he’s somehow a bad guy for not wanting to donate $200,000 to charity, that’s just low. Eddie used charity as a weapon to try and make Thor out to be a bad guy. Plus,
the hypocrisy regarding him always being nasty to Thor, and then complaining about Thor calling him “the fat guy” (an obviously untrue statement) ONCE on a podcast, I’m just sick of it.
*I wish Thor just forgot about Eddie, and went to box other celebrities and pro boxers in exhibition/pro fights.* If Thor just left Eddie in his dust, then Eddie would be pissed for life, and would be even more consumed with Thor. Thor is living rent free in Eddie’s head.

I hate to use the term, but Thor is an alpha male, but not at all because of any physical characteristics. He has control over his life, knows what he has to do and does it, and has a relaxed but confident demeanour. You can tell Eddie is threatened, I honestly worry about his mental health because he seems like he is covering up a lot of insecurities.

Thor - it’s used as a measure in competitive swimming.
Indication potential. Check the wing span on all Olympic swimmers. Always 3-5” wider than their height.
We used to do it against a door jam. Bottom to top - mark it - measure against height.
I’m 6’3 with an arm span of 6’7”.
You can drive strokes further, move more water etc.
Other sports too. Basketball, pitching/baseball etc. But swimming uses it as a marker.
Phelps for example - 6’4” with a 6’9” wing span.
Climbing also, always known it as ape index. For powerlifting this ideal for deadlift specialists, longer arms means higher hip statt position and lower lockout.
