Thankyou for this, Ryan is a true Road Race Legend, and doesn’t get the recognition for how much he’s put into the sport since retiring….the supertwins especially, would never have happened without him….👍👌🇮🇲. Ps I know he won over 200 races….and on every Irish circuit , Olivers Mount , TT , MGP, southern 100……but did he win on the Jurby South Road circuit in the IOM…?

Irish road racing (and the Isle of Man mountain course races ) is the most amazing motorcycle discipline / spectacle, in motorcycling bar none, Ryan's tales from the races give a tantalising hint of the craic and enjoyment had by racers, spectators and anyone else that has even a passing interest in the sport down through the years. Amazing stuff and a fantastic trip down memory lane .
Hope 2023 brings many more successes as without people like you "real" road racing will end up in folklore.
