- This week I've been joined by my good mate and Isle Of Man TT legend, Dan Cooper, or "Coops" as he's better known. This boy can properly ride a motorcycle and has some incredible stories about his days competing in the world's scariest road race. From dodging errant sheep at 170mph, to riding with a dislocated arm - it's proper hair-raising stuff!
We also catch up with the preparation of our Yamaha R6 race bikes, before we head to Spain, and show you some of the differences between them.
It's a long video, but well worth a watch to get an insight into just how scary it can be to compete at the TT, the ultimate test of man and machine.

Great episode, I enjoy both 4 and 2 wheel content. I live in Canada and only able to enjoy the TT via the CZcams coverage.

Great watch, those R6's are miles different to the 2007 ex Virgin cup bike I raced in 2011. Loving the TT stories, my hat goes off to anyone that rides there. 👍🏻

Great upload,I've been to a few TT's & go to the Classic TT every year.When I first went it surpried me where some spectators stood,I don't think they're aware that if things go wrong there's going to be pieces of motorcycle flying toward them at high speed 😵.

Bloody brilliant on that one Rick But the price of the pieces on them R6’s Let alone the big bikes just like telephone numbers, makes my prod days of LC racing look like peanuts, compared to today’s prices enjoy your time in Spain and have fun
TT has changed lots .. Used to go and watch Joey D .in the rain over the mountain in the fog...lol ..Best was Foggy on the yam against Hissy Norton...Foggy bike was scrap at the end ...Miss it but the cost ov going is killing it...Good luck and keep it pinned..

Does the Thru rod Ohlins cause less cavitation compaired with the TTX and whats the difference in service intervals, if any?
Do you ride with standard thickness or Fat grips on the Bars.
