The first race of the season, was always around St Paddy weekend, let it be at Aghadowey or a 2 day meeting at Mondello Park! Ive raced at Aghadowey with green all around the circuit, cow clap on circuit, and in heavy sleet showers! We did it, cos we enjoyed racing! No one was forced to race! Moss on track, no one crashed on this! so easy to criticise from home! social media is nuts!, well done to organizing club, no one can control the weather!.

I'm sure you didn't mean to slag Alexander Rowan on the Moto3 by complimenting a rider on a ssp300s times but you you did guys. He missed Quali and the little tyres on the moto 3 were useless on the mossy track vs a 140rear gripwise. Look at the sunflower race 2 last year to get an accurate picture. 4.6 seconds a lap quicker then the ssp300 rider you mentioned. In saying that, great show and keep up the good work!!!

I know we're signed up to the good Friday agreement and all, BUT could some of the "auld boys" not take that eejit Murphy the Mick out!? 😂 He stirs more dung than a Red Rock slurry tank.

Brilliant Ryan’s a top lad

Thankyou for this, Ryan is a true Road Race Legend, and doesn’t get the recognition for how much he’s put into the sport since retiring….the supertwins especially, would never have happened without him….👍👌🇮🇲. Ps I know he won over 200 races….and on every Irish circuit , Olivers Mount , TT , MGP, southern 100……but did he win on the Jurby South Road circuit in the IOM…?

An hour and a half, can't sit through this , far too long, oh wait , fcuk, it's coming to an end, noooo! Irish road racing (and the Isle of Man mountain course races ) is the most amazing motorcycle discipline / spectacle, in motorcycling bar none, Ryan's tales from the races give a tantalising hint of the craic and enjoyment had by racers, spectators and anyone else that has even a passing interest in the sport down through the years. Amazing stuff and a fantastic trip down memory lane . Hope 2023 brings many more successes as without people like you "real" road racing will end up in folklore.

You will find it hard to meet anyone more competitive than this man ,💪🔥
