I’m trying to download origin too and it didn’t work for some reason. I accidentally put it in the log files folder inside the system 32 file, so I put it in system 32 and it still didn’t work

I even have two copies of the 64 in the system 32 and it is not working, I'm sure that my computer needs 64 as well as I have double checked. You can go onto origins website and ask for help there, I chatted to a worker on an online chat and he sent me two things off the windows website that I had to download in my files and it literally took 2 seconds and was way easier than these tutorials. It fixed the problem so try contacting a worker! :)

The problem was that in the video he accidentally copied the file into a folder within system32, but what you really wanna do is copy the file into system32 itself, not a folder within it. Hope this helped

this helped! my computer just randomly one day decided that the this file wasn't important anymore and while earlier in trying to fix it I did do all of this...I unzipped the folder and then dragged it into system32. Apparently that somehow duplicated the dll file and named it something slightly different/messed it up. Finally fixed thank god :')

so much detailed and long video.. and you missed the most important point of is it necessary to drop the Dll file into log files folder like you did or not! the whole thing is only 2 steps that took 7 min and still you did not clarify that second step.
A vast majority don't seem to have a problem with the exact same tutorial you watched. That would suggest you maybe did not follow all the directions properly.

Thank you! I was using dolphin emulator and it showed me that i was missing the dll file. But the only difference was that the file was VCRUNTIME_1.dll. But it still worked. Thank you for the tutorial!!

i clicked on continue but it says access denied and told me to try again :c
So I put it in system 32 it did not work but when I put it in the syswow64 folder I got a different answer but now origin saying "The application was unable to start correctly"
I've followed your instructions but it says the files are already in this folder and even if i replace the files, i still come across the same problem. If i put the dll files in the games local files then it gives me an error saying the application cannot open correctly. Please help

Just type SYSTEM in start or find it in the CONTROL PANEL and it says SYSTEM TYPE..
And just download all the files the application is missing and just keep dragging it in system 32 or the other one like he was doing..
