This book is beyond incredible! I wish I could be your daughter for a year, spending four hours a day with you, learning how to do this! your skill overwhelms me, and I think of how much you could teach people who were interested!!
Oh Angie, how incredibly generous of you to say! Thank you so much 🥰🤗TBH I'm very new to slow stitching and was learning as I went. If it helps I usually let the fabric colour and design guide me in how I stitched the page. I also find a lot of inspiration on CZcams and Instagram. There are many talented creators out there. Give it a go, you may be surprised by what you're able to create xx

This book is so delicious! I especially love the front cover, two-page spreads, and the cohesiveness of each spread design. Thank you for sharing. I’ve subscribed and I’m eager to watch your other videos.
To keep the swatches in place, one idea is to add a “flip-out” of sheer fabric the full size of the left page. It could be hinged on the left….with a tie or hooks or Velcro in the area between the left and right pages.

Your book turned out absolutely gorgeous, I love it, especially all the blues :) I used a ribbon on my last page to keep the sample pieces moving around too much, perhaps something similar? Thank you so much for sharing and take care :)

Thank you for sharing your lovely book. On your fabric index page you could use a horizontal belly band across the page sewn in the middle of your book and held with some press studs on the left hand side which will hold your fabric swatches down when fastened. Then unclip and flip open the band when you want to go through the swatches... 😄

You are too kind 🥰🤗 I couldn't say exactly how long it took to complete. The challenge was set over several months and I would spend maybe 4 or 5 hours a week on it. Mind you a lot of time was spent trying to decide which fabrics and trims to use 😆
