Using fixative actually changes the quality of the piece. The drawing will hold up fine with proper care. No fixative needed

Now can jazza make his own paint? Not necessarily a high-quality paint but is paint or act like paint.
It's pretty easy to make. For watercolor: pigment + gum arabic. For oil paint: pigment + linseed oil. Mix with a muller, et voila.
