I screwed up and got the brand of the winning pen wrong. It's Tombow, not Pentel. Sorry! That's the life of a CZcamsr for ya - spend days on the content, and screw up within a few seconds by leaving in a swear and getting the critical facts wrong. But would you have it any other way? ;)
Itâs alright Jazza!! And nah we donât want it another way đ Loved the vid btw!!
Thank you for reading the comments and correcting it. And well, ever wrote your own name wrong because you were to focused on the letters... I sure have đ

Only additional "test" I would have liked to have seen was how well they hold up when being erased, since pencil sketch lines are often being erased after the pens have been laid down.
Oooh yay that's true
Same! Erased, plus also if they get smudged when colors are applied (water-based, alcohol-based, etc.)
I could be wrong, but I _think_ that âsad and crappyâ Pentel brush pen that was really watery was meant to be for adding a light tonal wash to ink illustrations, not for proper inking. Thatâs most likely why it scored so badly.
Makes a lot more sense
Make sense and also I think this pen can be really amazing at drawing shadows
Yes, but the video was rating pens based on their inking capabilities not shading abilities.
@@sortal they're saying this because the pen isn't meant for inking out fully
Yeah, this pen was meant for a very specific purpose, which wasn't this. Doesn't mean it's a bad pen, just that it would be amazing at one thing and terrible at another. I have one and I'm pretty fond of it, but it's definitely more to be used as a watercolor pen or a Japanese calligraphy pen then an ink liner.

Isaac Lee yes
Isaac Lee thatâs what I use
I use microns since they are pretty cheap and comfortable to draw with (especially the brush tip one). Also they come in so many different sized tips and have different colours as well. They helped me with my heavy hand as the thinner tips get messed up easily so I'm happy for that, but the major con is that they do not go well with markers and god darn it that's my main medium.
always wanted to get into inking but never had the right pens, then i got myself the pentel caligraphy pen and OMG! the quality is amazing, it feeels sooo good, it's like you are drawing digitally, it's so smooth, the presure sensitivity is superb the ink is very clean, dark, no smurge or any artifacts left on the pen, it responds well to quick gestures. stoooongly recomend it for anyone who wants to ink, i kinda watched this vid to see jazza's opinion about it and i'm glad someone else got to enjoy it as well : D
