I'm 36 and my dad LOVED THIS SHOW and I never really got into it but this recap series is giving us something to bond over. He loves the accent and any talk of Lost and I'm a Mike Stan so it works perfectly

The widow has a terrible Australian accent and says "you're talking about the numbers," something Mike will never let her forget.

I think this was one of the reasons why lost was kinda pivotal! With this characterization of Ana Lucia, Hurley & his struggle with his weight in an age of fat jokes being played for laughs in the office, and the humanization & emotional complexity of Sayid, who was straight up accused of being a terrorist early on - it was all kind of a hot take for its time
