I just received my bodylastic curl bar and did this follow along workout. I really like this curl bar and your workout. The last bicep tension with lunge got me good! Can’t wait to continue working out with my new found bar and band workouts!

Ok good feedback, but I don’t think a lot of people own these bands because the are a new product. I will do another video but with use traditional bands but the same exercises will work with the Bluetooth bands.

one you are using. It's 47 inches long, and heavy. but the bar is one
solid piece like a weightlifter curl bar.

Had my first workout with the curl bar. Felt like I had a good workout! Did notice, for some exercises, you have to really stay aware of good form to protect your back.
The only exercise that seemed a little weak was the bench press. Even after adding all my bands and braiding, it did not seem like it offered much resistance. So plan on substituting with chest flys.
Certainly one plus is the curl bar offers something different and keeps the band workouts fun.

Great video. I have this curl bar and I deliberately disconnected the chain so I could alternate between a short bar and the full length one since it has that middle hook. The first time putting it back together is tricky but it gets easier.

Round 2 with the curl bar I found the chest press lying down was not effective to much slack in the bodylastic bands so I did it using the bench with the bar for chest press worked it worked great. Still not getting a great back workout with the bent over row like in the video I switched that to a XH+M loop band much better at getting to failure of the back muscles
I feel I should mention that the Bodylastic company also sells a sort of "sleeve" that you can slip over the bands for those exercises where you stand on the bands, like the first one in the video, to make it more comfy for you and less stress on the bands.

You can wrap the bands inside some thick bath towels too. Problem solved for less money.
Love this. I watch this video every day while working out. Question though, I’m short 5’7” and have a little belly. When I do the bent over rows I feel like I’m not getting the full exercise because it’s difficult for me to fully squeeze my shoulders and back due to the belly 🙈. Do I need a wider grip spreading my arm away from my belly? Or any suggestions so I can do proper form and technique?

Noob question, but what are the pros/cons of a curl bar and a straight bar?
Curl bar takes pressure off your wrist with high resistance.

Ok well the straight bar will be fine for this upgrade but as your strength gets better you may want to invest in a curl bar

Is there a reason why you preach the so many sets of 8-10 but in other videos you say to take sets to failure?
You should always take on the failure but due to people brainwashed that they need sets and reps and so many people ask for it in my videos I put them up but they are just a guide not the rule you should absolutely go to failure in each set

I would be careful about calling this a "total Body" workout, given that there are no bar specific exercises mentioned here that specifically target the lower body.
