If it was up to the ankle of course it would go in because there is an opening for your feet to go in, there is no water proof shoe that can go that high unless they're high tops

Rain boots are made of rubber. Converse uses regular materials used for shoes but then add a hydrophobic coating to the outside. Rubber can be seen as less fashionable and comfortable as it's less flexible so a company like converse would opt for the regular materials and just tweak them.

These are made out of rubber like rain boots so of course thy are waterproof. Even with leather converse water just slides off it's just textile ones that get wet, it's logical. And they've been on the market for a while do your research buzzfeed.

I used to work at a shoe store and we sold those. I bought a pair, they are pretty sweet
converse is my favorite shoe brand im so hyped
But wait...when I think 'waterproof,' I think of accidentally stepping into a two-inch deep puddle and not having a wet sock. Where's that test? Will water seep through the little eyelets for the laces? I MUST KNOW.
Vans have had a water resistant shoe for a couple of years
I went snow tubing in them and it took me like 20 times going down the hill in the snow dragging my feet in the snow to stop before my feet felt any moisture at all and they weren't even soaked and dried super quickly
pretty sure the material has a water phobic costing so they arent as effective as rain boots but they are the best pick to maintain style while having some protection
