It’s really awesome how transparent Dave is with these builds man
I appreciate Dave talking thru what he's doing. These build videos are great.
I got a message that I won a bike and to contact on Telegram. I'm assuming it was bogus. lol
Jay is the best. It's worth the drive just to talk to her!😉 Come on dyno tune!!💪
Best part is all hand tools...no impacts....no drills....pure hands on getting it done!
Dave's knowledge and attention to detail are awesome, no wonder why he's so busy. Loved the video, can't wait for the next installment.
Can’t wait to see the project completed!!! 💪🏽
Dave makes everything look easy!!!!
Like a lot of the other comments i love when Dave is in the video. A wealth of knowledge and the explanation of what he is doing. Also the honesty is refreshing.
LOVING IT! Can't wait to watch the whole build
I'll be there December 12th for my 475 cam and Bassani 2 into one exhaust.
Great great content. Love to watch & listen to Dave’s work, why things work or don’t work out.
Dave is awesome and a great Mechanic...
Dave would make a great teacher. A lot of techs would not want to show how things are done. Thank You and Dave for sharing.
Wow wow!
Hey John, you have a top notch mechanic there.
Really cool man, thanks for sharing.
Ty both!
Also, video John, I can’t wait till it’s all done, ride safe and enjoy
Very nice pieces for Kong. Nice content.
Thank you
Awesome video John ride safe and enjoy. I can’t wait to see it all done.
John as always another great video...with Dave explaining everything he's doing and why...Dave is so thorough and knowledgeable....and can tell you trust Dave to do your major work. A good local indy shop is a valuable asset.
I installed the 13 inch Legends, mine were 12”. I love the ride it’s a huge difference. Although my little legs can’t quite flat foot the bike anymore lol backing up is fun.
Bike is coming along nicely !!
oh wow i live 10 mins from there and never knew it was like this. ill have to stop by
Like watching a surgeon. Great video
I like the way how Dave is very precise on how he does his work very clean, confident, and the use of hand tools, makes sure everything is torqued with in spec. When I get the money my bike will becoming the shop from Rochester to get my big bore kit done.
That exploded tire was insane! Dude was going full Ghost Rider lol
I always learn a lot from the build videos. Thank you for filming it so people can understand a little details. Great job as always John..👍🤙
Awesome video. Cool to see that stuff and learn a bit about it all. Bike is going to be sharp when it is finished.
Was great to see a video of exactly how Dave works. I have my bike scheduled with him for January, can’t wait!
Sweet! Can't wait for the 2 into 1 & dyno run. I ran D&D 2 into 1 with a Borzilla Baffle back in the day. Bad Azz! Dave's a good guy!
John, man I appreciate you and Dave always explaining what’s going with the build process. Gives me confidence for my build.
Vids r never long enough can’t wait for the next installment thanks John great content can’t wait for dyno
I bet he has had a huge increase in business since you started your channel
Coming along nicely
Keep the A Ness stuff clean and polished... I had a Hand Grip Chrome failure at 13 months and they wouldn't stand behind them
This is awesome! Can't wait to get my bike to Dave next month.
Great inspiration John. You've brought great ideas to my journey. BTW, I bought some Indie Ridge Mohawks and boy they are perfect!🤟
Always a good watch!
This is a cool video Thank you John
I switched to the extreme air filter and it made a big difference.
Love your Channel ❤
Hi John ! Exciting build , btw I purchased the foot controls ! Can’t wait to see the finished build 👍🏻🏁
It's Doctor Dave at Work!!! LOL!!!
Very cool👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent detail and quality work by Dave!! Hell ya cool stuff brother!!
My 17 RGS had the oil pump issue too.
Nice 🙏🏽🖖🏾👍👌🏽
Man I wish I had a great shop like that nearby. The shops here I walk in and smell weed. Stoned mechanics. Really isn’t my business who smokes out but it is my business when I walk in looking at baked mechanics, smelling weed during business hours whether or not you are putting a wrench on my ride. Some jobs a need the shop to do. I’m like an hour and a half away from shops in the next nearest town or dealer.
Good luck with this project waiting for you to review the mid controls👍🏻great video as always
John, two questions for you so far. 1 - why did you reuse the lousy stock cam plate and didn’t upgrade to the screaming eagle one, was it because the run out was a little to much for Dave’s liking? Question 2 - whats the reasoning behind putting the cam cover on before finishing up the lifters and push rods, I would think you would do that last god forbid something dropped in there. Thank you for the awesome videos.
I had one of mine fail. The dealer replaced it under extended warranty. Didn't blow the motor. The invoice said $69.00 repair job.
Nice! Its like Christmas came early eh? Can't wait to see everything done.
Bad Ass video
Dave makes it look easy
The sound of future power LOLOL
Great video John 👍🏾
Over time this has become one of my fav channels.
I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking this
Keep it up brother !
If u ever ride thru the Chicago area let us know
Lots of us would love a meet and greet
None of the CZcams bike ppl ever come thru Chitown it seems
It would be cool to see your thoughts on if having the motor built up like you did on silverback was worth it vs just the cam upgrade your doing now. Especially on a bike your looking to take cross country.
14" Legends should ride ilke a dream
Nice job it's gonna look good when it's done in sound amazing was wondering if you had any good slip ones for an 09 ultra classic 96 in³ it's stupid inch looking for good slip bonds and a parrot 12" pen about it
Can you provide some feedback on the GP suspension?
It’s great so far. No issues and great performance and ride quality
Curious....why did this build not include an S&S cam plate and oil pump. HD has solved the major problem, but is it considered HD has matched S&S quality. I thought that while the mod may not be NECSSARY,it is a nice quality improvement that helps engine longevity. I shoot for a 50000mile trouble free motor (like my evo). Is the S&S no longer considered an improvement on post 2021 motors?
What is dave opinion on the zipper for 468 cam???
How come you didn't show the pushrods being installed?
How long does it take Dave to swap out a cam? Stoked to see what you do with this build!
Are you going to upgrade the audio system too ?
What happen to the blue soft tail?
You should a plate that says Kong and get rid of the screaming eagle
Hey Brother
Why does it state Mad Max?
Kong is her name?
Peace ✌🏽
@@CYCLEFANATIX I must have missed that video 👍🏼
Mad Max is cool though
peace ✌🏽
what about the value springs with that big azz cam
How much does that job cost?
You wanna sell your carbon fiber front fender.?
HIRE MORE TECHS !!!
If I had a nickel for every time he says gotcha, I would be rich af..
Most thankless and depressing job in the world :
The guy who makes the stock HD slip ons at the factory.
Why not, just use a fake pipe so the bagger doesn't look crazy?
maybe turn the fake pipe into a not-too-obvious storage container
Only 1 problem...in my classes I was told that you should never torque a dry bolt to dry threads(not soaked like you guys said)....but dry will tend to bind on each other.I don't know....just always looking for more incite for me and others.
You should've kept the silver back
