Sunday Drive (it's not a Sunday, and I get Spirited!)

- Just a nice little drive in my 2022 VW GLI 2.0T 6MT on a nice afternoon. It's not a Sunday, but it might as well be! I talk a little bit about some of the few small quirks I've had with the car, check out the beautiful town of Port Stanley as the sun starts to set and finally find some twisty roads to let loose on.

Sure was. Port Stanley is nice. Not much there other than a few shops and a few restaurants. But there's a really nice coffee shop there and a nice ice cream shop too but that was closed when I was there. I did buy a coffee and a bag of coffee beans from the coffee shop though!
The travel assist error you are getting is because of your steering wheel becoming faulty. I got the same thing with my MK8 GTI and they have to replace it under warranty for free.
Oh hey I noticed you have a nice GTI lol (I can't remember if you went 7-speed DSG or 6-speed manual but it's an awesome ride either way!) anyway yeah, that sucks maybe I'll wait and see if it gets worse I'll bring it in under warranty.
I have the MK8 Anniversary Edition Autobahn w/ the manual transmission. Very sweet ride and great for road trips. As for the travel assist error, you’ll start it up one day and it will beep every MINUTE and drive ya nuts. Just be aware that the wait for a steering wheel replacement is like 6 weeks from VW cuz they are replacing so many of them. Hopefully yours won’t be that long.
