@@slaterrockshop4564 as soon as I find a 6.0 for my 91 Silverado I am..almost bought 5.3 but trying to hold out if I don't get too excited watching everyone else's videos of theirs running like crazy lol I bought it 3 yrs ago to make a Lil hot rod and ended up having to put on hold but now I'm ready and really excited lol
@@slaterrockshop4564 it's my first swap..I've rode in some ls stuff of various sorts..trucks,camaros..I got a couple guys that play with tuners I can take it to until I learn but I've built alot of sbc with all kinds of variations..last one was 69 chevelle with 400 small block car 4 speed..but I've never built or had an LS myself so I'm pretty stoked when I watch people with obs trucks swapped.
Appreciate the straightforward video. Just got my donor today. We'll see how the whole ls swap goes, I hear good things.

@@badassbees3680 The 5.3 can get a lot better fuel mileage than a 6.0, but if you are not worried about fuel mileage the 6.0 is a hoss!

What does E2 connect to on the transmission
It's the main power wire to the transmission solenoids, I can't remember what pin but it's in the main round connector on top of the transmission

Do you need e2 if you have manual transmission
How about the starter signal wire to keep the oem LS starter wire in the harness.
I'm not sure what pin goes to the starter relay
So how exactly do I give them power the two pink wires should move them to ?
Put power on the single pink wire e2. It will send power to the two pink wires

I'm unsure. I would stick with the 08 harness if it's possible

You should not need e2 for a manual trans. Just make sure you computer has been programmed for a manual trans.
