Lovely video. We must do more to respect Indigenous peoples of Africa. Govt policy is important to preserve them, hope Ugandan Govt recognize it more.I am from Zimbabwe myself and we still have about 1600 Aboriginal San people left. Our Govt recognizes their language, culture and way of life so we don't lose them .When I visit Zimbabwe I plan to go to Plum tree and visit their community. They still live away from rest of the population so to preserve their way of life. They don't need all the stress, noise and pollution.
What a wonderful video! Please remember that a lot of us westerners actually support Africans and that we wish you all the best! We are not all (neo-)colonialists or racists, far from it, and your videos enable us to connect to you. Keep up the good work!
Batwa are normal people who live normal lives. Their lives are different from yours but they still live normally. Your life is only different to theirs
Well, in that parallel universe, I would hope that you and miss Josey would guide me around Africa... I would thoroughly enjoy it. Doing it now virtually...
Let the Batwa live in peace on the forest. When you are in a supportive community and have food, shelter, and the peace and tranquility of the forest, you are not poor.
Miss Josey, So proud of you to bring this side of life to the front of the world. You are so original and have a warm heart that I hope kind people of your government see and support your work and provide you for tools so you can be a voice for needed tribe of your country. I see a beautiful human being is growing .....
Many thanks Josey for highlighting such a stunning rainforest. I imagine there are still a number of plant species and small invertebrates yet to be catalogued by biologists. As a boy I recall seeing the words impenetrable rainforest on a map and being fascinated. I hope the people there get the respect and space that they deserve from the outside world. Best regards from London, England.
I read Colin Turnbull's "The Forest People" written in the 1950s about these people...he lived amongst them for about 10 years....it's sad that they are pressured to relocate....during WWII in Europe they were used as tunnel scouts but they found their lifespan is very short after being removed from the forest canopy.....I hope they are allowed to stay and their tribe survives modern African development.....great vidow Miss Josey!
Each of you are very beautiful people ! The kids are so adorable and precious. May the lord continue to prosper and bless you abundantly. Love Always from your friend in ....... Seattle , WA , USA
Ooomg thats a steep hill, and up there is all forest. That tribe lives up there. They seem happy with their lives, wooooow, interesting way of life. Very very interesting.

Nice video but it could have been richer. You should have interviewed them more so we learn their daily lives and how they feel living in the village compared to their old lifestyle. Africa is really diverse.
Hi miss Josey! Was that you playing guitar and singing at the end? We should jam one day, if you ever make it to San Francisco, California! Haha! Peace. 🐰🌹🇺🇲💙🎸🎶✌️

Thanks Miss Josey! What a happy community. I really am liking your videos. I have never been to Africa but it looks beautiful and the people enjoy themselves.
Thank you for showing the Batwa. It’s good to see that some are still alive Alhamdulilah . Bwindi was they indigenous lands that has been taken away from them. The government took all the Batwa land all over east Africa leaving them vulnerable. They are the first peoples on earth. They were living on land with resources. Those lands belong to them. They should have never been homeless in the street in the first place. They human right have been more then violated. It’s need to stop. They are humans. Allah swt will judge peoples who did wrong towards them. They are the original Jews with the inheritance of the wealth of the earth. Because they are the oldest peoples on earth. The westerners needed the resources in the forest lands where the Twa lived so they took the forest from them. The Twa of East Africa are indigenous of east Africa, they always been there. They are not “nomad”. The taller Africans are nomads because they found them there when they migrated from north, and mixed with them. The taller Africans were the original Arabic peoples first peoples to have lived in the all North Africa with a very very black skin. Also known as the Moors. They mixed with the Assaryans as they moved along the way through war between the indigenous Arabs and the Assaryans or Arians. Finally arrived east Africa and became the black peoples we see today. We should ask the Twas permission to cut they trees for making Paper. Or gold mining coltan Diamonds. It’s all belong to them.
This is great content. All of your videos are. Exploring different peoples, lands and cultures is one of my favorite things. And here we have the beautiful, uplifting Miss Josie to show us around. Perfect. Peace be with you, Josie.
