  • Hello Awesome people,
"Originally, Batwa were forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers based in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa, and are widely accepted as the original inhabitants of the region. As their traditional forest lands and territories fell under the control of agro-industries and conservation agencies, the Batwa became squatters living on the edges of society. The establishment of the Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks for Mountain Gorillas in 1991 enabled the authorities to evict the Batwa definitely from the forest. The Batwa in Uganda (today) experience systematic and pervasive discrimination from the government and other sectors of society, and their rights as indigenous peoples are neither recognized nor respected".

I also wanna clear something, you’re not allowed to feed the baboons. I only assumed you were because we had guides literally standing by the roadside as we fed them and no one said a thing. It is so wrong.
    Otherwise, thank you so much.❤

yes. it is too painful to lose so very much. the forest protects the entire planet, we can share it with its gatekeepers. too much knowledge is lost when you inappropriately disturb forest residents. it is a foolish action. maybe Uganda's government does not need those medicines. too late now. how poor the rich are!!!

I guess the Pygmies are much smarter than people who live on the land and certainly much smarter than those who live in the cities. To live like that, you have to have very good knowledge of the environment. The forest is their university, their shop, their healing place, their garden, their home. Much respect for the Holy Tree. 🙏🌳🌴

Ms. Eunice, one of the indigenous tribes in the Philippines are exactly like them, 4ft. tall. I can only assumed that those people in the Philippines and these people in your video are all related. The way they live their lives are also the same as of those in the Philippines. In the Philippines, there's a law that protects them and all tribes in the country. Thank you for sharing about these people as they are valued in the Philippines because they are the care takers of the environment. God bless.

Find a tourist information in Manila and they will assist you for your journey. Also, I am sure that your subscribers will increase significantly over there like many vloggers do, because the Philippines is the social media capital of the world. God bless.

    Hey Eunice Tess! 🌍✨
Your video showcasing the incredible Batwa tribe in Uganda, and I am utterly moved by the depth and authenticity of your storytelling. Your dedication to shedding light on the struggles and rich cultural heritage of the Batwa is truly commendable.
Despite having a relatively smaller subscriber count, your work speaks volumes and has the power to create a significant impact. The way you bring attention to the challenges faced by the Batwa and the discrimination they endure is both eye-opening and heartwrenching. You've poured your heart into this project, which shines through every frame.
Your commitment to highlighting lesser-known stories and advocating for marginalized communities is what we need more of in the content creation space. I have no doubt that your channel, though currently with a few subscribers, is destined for greater heights. The authenticity and passion you bring to your work are the ingredients for success.
Thank you for using your platform to amplify the voices of the Batwa and raise awareness about the issues they face. I've subscribed and can't wait to see more empowering stories unfold on ExperienceAfricans. Here's to celebrating the beauty, resilience, and shared stories of Africa! 🙌🔥

They need a lot of things, but I got one family money for a blanket since they stay in a cold place. You could do the same too or food.

It’s made my day to hear they’re still alive, I was telling my little girl about the Pygmies the other day,as the schools don’t teach children these facts anymore to busy going on about nonsense,, she wouldn’t believe me,, can’t wait to show her this in the morning

Beautiful country… beautiful people❤..Thank you for sharing..It is sad to think that all their knowledge of how to live in harmony with Nature will be lost if the government won’t let them go back to their land..
