Lovely tractor and lovely dog 🐕
You definitely picked the right brand and size to get awesome tractors! Keep up the great videos and would like to see this at some working days or road runs!
Definitely taking it out on a few runs 💪🏻
Great Video, good informative for a change,☘️🌞.
Great tractors David Brown have one myself an 1190,3 cyl.
half a 1690 😆. Brilliant engines - powerful, gutsy and economical 👍
Will Defo make one want it plus should go well
Great video, she's starting to look better.
Thanks mate, a bit of oil splashed on the old paint does wonders
@@dirt_and_diesel yes the old red paint a soon look good with a jet wash n some oil on her , they are good handy tractors
Great stuff. Not ideal to be in under the forks?Looking forward to next one
The little valve at 4:03 seems to be the cause of a lot of the hydraulic problems. It seems to stick through lack of use (and moisture) and needs gently working free to get the hydraulics functioning properly. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get to with a cab, but is just about possible for non Q-cab tractors. You probably have to have done one before and have a good imagination ! I think it is a 7/16" (11mm) spanner size, two nuts locked together. Great video.
Love to get my hands on one off then
Please buy some TFR, get it sprayed down in it whilst it’s dry, in all the nucks And crannys and give it a really tougher jet wash, that chassis looks like it will come up a treat at the back
Nice video I have a 990/995 With non working hydraulics Thank's Stay safe
They don’t like dirty oil, do they?
@@dirt_and_diesel I Need to get the it in the work shop for a good service when i have time Thank's for the reply
Hi i'm in the middle of restoring a Db 990 selectomatic, could you please tell me how do you remove the bolts at the top of the lift links, I've got the nuts loose but the bolts appear to solid in the radius lift arms and I really don't want to start hitting things with hammers just yet. Are these kept in with a mating taper in the radius arm? many thanks
Are you gonna fit a new oil pump?might be a good idea(ah ok ,wrote comment before i started whatching vid)😁
No worries, it’s good that folk offer their advice really. It all helps
Hi how do you bleed the brakes🤔😳please...mine exactly the same
What, exactly, was the issue to resort to this level of 'attention'?
Oh man she's just a beauty ,even better when she'll be painted
Yeah, can’t wait. Gonna run her rusty in the grass for a bit first, find any issues
@@dirt_and_diesel ya no point having her looking pretty if it don't work properly
I got a case 1494 it's got to diesel 1 is full an an 1 not got much in it how dunz it work
Diesel tanks
I put a buzzer on my oil pressure light oil pump fails the oil pressure switch turns the light and the buzzer on instantly
Ohh that’s a good idea. Might steal that one in the short term
@@dirt_and_diesel Can you wire that switch directly to the engine shut-off, to remove the human factor entirely? same for overheat? Also, might the valves have been freed up with detergent oil, repeated work, and a few hot-cold cycles, without needing to disassemble?
Is this D.B 1690?
BTW, is this a 1494?
DB 1690 - 6-cylinder power. Still a sort of big tractor in the UK despite being from the late 1970's
