This will always be hard to watch and especially at the end where he couldn't stand straight anymore, that ended me. Harry gives 1000% and never cancels anything unless he really has to! And seeing this just reminded me of how often Harry would be sick during 1D shows, I'm soooo glad that hes now in a place were his health seems to be sooooo much better!

Harryy. This man does so much for his fans. He continues to perform even when he has asthma attacks. I am 100% sure he had stomach flu at a point and he was still on the stage. And he even lost his voice once but he was lipsinging when his fans were spilling out the lyrics. I have soooo much respect for him.
Hats off to him. He's an angel. So pure hearted. It is painful to see him like that. And the end breaks mt heart. Like how he tried to greet his fans but couldnt bcos of the chest pain and in the last song he was literally killed by the pain but was still jumping in order to entertain.
And fuck the management those idiots lack humanity. Atleast some time could help him recover. No one came to help him except liam.

I have asthma and a great Aunt had it. She died at 64 in her husband's arms of a heart attack. If he continues exposing himself to these irritants, it will not end well as it strains the right-side of the heart. Did he have Covid?. My asthma has been much worse since having it and I was not hospitalized.
@@bonnyc392 It takes consistent, chronic respiratory issues to put a strain the heart, which is not typical of asthma patients. However, it can happen with chronic bronchitis, and Harry has been known to have some long bouts of bronchitis issues in the past. Overall, he's a pretty young, healthy chap. As far as I know, he hasn't had covid. Hope you are staying healthy! ♥

Also they were given little time to rest and recover from any illness they come up with (which I think is horrible to do to anyone by their bosses). Thankfully, now they can manage their own schedule as they please.

I keep finding these videos. They make me so sad. I didn't realize he was I so much pain...at least not THIS kind of pain. 😔 I know he was stressed but this must have been so scary all the time. I have exercise-induced asthma and it's not fun! I cannot imagine how he felt all these times. I hate that they pushed him so much. He always does so much for us...but does he know he doesn't need to strain himself for us? He could sit on stage and read a book, we'd still scream our lungs out. Harry, baby, if you're hurting, take a break. We'll forgive you. We'd rather have you stand in one place during a show than end up in the ER. Please be safe you wonderful human ❤️

Sweet boy did everything he could. Coughing hard like that can strain muscles, too, so I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a muscle coughing. My dad had COPD and he did that sometimes and it was agonizing.

Management needs to put more effort into their overall wellbeing too. For starters stop with that fog which exacerbates asthma & have personnel at strategic points ready to help if they require their inhalers, etc. Harry showed so much grit to keep going for his fans and his band mates.
I think they had ppl around the stage that had his inhaler. Definitely agree on the fog though.

Never heard of this artist. His dedication to his fans and audience is something you don't see anymore in the entertainment industry so my hats off to him on that. But please anybody with asthma know this that was the worst thing he could have did to himself with asthma the best thing when you're having a asthma attack is to keep your mouth totally shut and try to breathe in and out of your nose only with not even breathing through your mouth it makes it worse. As someone that's a professional singer it was painful for me to watch him go through this and do this cuz this could even damage his vocals him having a asthma attack and continuously to sing through that. There was so much that was dangerous that he did through that but I still commend him. His dedication to his craft and artwork 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Harry Styles is one of the biggest singers out right now, but this concert was back in 2014 when he was part of a boy band. There was so much wrong with how these boys were managed and many of them suffered through mental and physical challenges. Agree that asthma is nothing to mess with. Good luck with your singing!

The feeling is like someone squeezing your heart and lungs as hard as they can and no matter how much you want to breathe it hurts. I can’t be anywhere near someone else smoking or I’m in pain and wheezing.

I have a sister who has asthma since she was a baby. Attacks aren't regular to happen (like an everyday thing). There are triggers (dust, climate, being sick with another respiratory illness). It happens more regularly when the person is young. It can go when the person reaches their teen ages and come back in adulthood (not too regularly). What I think happens with Harry is that the constant change of climate (constantly traveling to and from countries with cold climate to countries with warm climate) triggers it.
@belen cozzarelli - Harry appears to have many triggers, but being sick is clearly a big one for him. He appears to still struggle with asthma as an adult.
Airplanes are not helpful at all. Dirty air.

@@MyMindMood I have sickness induced asthma, so its kinda only there when I'm sick, but it leaves you really breathless and constantly coughing for weeks after, sometimes the coughing attacks get to the point where you can't breathe in-between coughs and its terrifying. I think his is pretty similar if not the same, and it definitely doesn't feel good to preform in that state (I'm a dancer and I've had to preform multiple times like that, it sucks)

I have asthma that is a bi-product of a multi-systemic autoimmune disease called sarcoidosis. I never knew just how much music meant to me until I could barely squeak out a sound. Luckily, I woke up on the right side of the dirt today so God must have a plan. I do wish that he could copy me on the memo. Don't EVER do that. As soon as you feel something, call 911. My husband has had 3 heart attacks and he is still alive. Give that person a baby aspirin and have them sit or stoop down(so the blood doesn't have to pump so hard).Be ready to do CPR until the squad arrives. And pray hard.😢😮
He’s had some lung issues, so this may be that. We really don’t know. He was fine though and continued touring.

Liam helped him by putting his arm around him and helping him up the last bit of stage at the very end.
That stage smoke stinks! I was at a wedding where they used smoke for the processional. Many of us had to cover our faces. They either can use cold smoke mist or find some other way, but I know he must have felt bad. I give him props for continuing. They should have turned it off after they saw he was having difficulty.
That smoke/fog is bothersome to many. Luckily this was at the end of the concert. Hoping his new tour this weekend doesn’t have the smoke.

I've seen a few of these videos lately, and I did not know Harry suffered from asthma. As Eves Faith wrote he is a trouper. (Sorry Eves, this is the correct spelling for this usage). It also shows how cruel the contract was that our boys were performing under. Cowell et.al. must have know of Harry's condition. If they cared, they would not have used smoke of fog generating equipment. That stuff can be toxic over time. Now that H is a solo act, and has some control over his own destiny, I hope he has banned the use of such gear for his shows.

Could be stress related, doing too much, 'burning the candle at both ends' I call it....
It's your body telling you to slow down, relax and take it steady, unfortunately you're not young forever, Harry is fast approaching 30 and still living like a teenager, your body slowly ages and what it could easily handle when you were young becomes quite a task when you're older!
Your body is far more fragile than you can imagine.
I've had similar episodes and taken myself to A &E where they did an ECG, found nothing but it was scary!
Could also be a muscular pain, maybe he pulled something in his chest while coughing hard and singing?
I saw my dad have several heart attacks and he did pretty much the same chest clutching and wincing in the most excruciating pain he said he ever felt, chest tightening, shortness of breath etc

He was definitely overworked here in the early to mid-2010’s. He was sick so much, it’s sad. He still works very hard, but seems to have his heath fairly well-controlled now thank goodness.

I've had asthma and it's breathing and coughing symptoms. Although some may experience tightening of the airways, there isn't intense pain usually associated.
Many don't recognize symptoms of heart attack.
*Difficulty breathing,
*Intense chest pain, especially in males
*May be pain shooting through the left arm, especially in males

Chest pain IS a listed common symptom in asthma. However there’s also the possibility that he may have had angina pectoris from the inhalers and or the asthma itself, since it’s a massive strain on the heart.

I understand it 1000% I have had severe asthma since I was 10 yrs old.
Some ppl are lucky that it out grows but the rest like me, don't.
There are times were I was 5 mins or 2 mins away from the hospital that if I didn't get it there in time , I would have died... I have heard that from many doctors....
So I feel for him and hope he got the oxygen to help relieve his lungs.....
It's no fun, it can be life threatening if you don't take care of it or if you don't hurry to the ER..... many ppl have died for not getting oxygen into their lungs and brain in time..... and if you do, then the relief you feel of the pressure being released but then you deal with the struggle of your lungs and body beat from forcing and fighting to grab air to breathe....

@@kittenspuppiespsychictarot3873 o yeah. Especially when it's severe, you feel the weight on your chest and you also feel the pressure in your brain, cause your losing oxygen, so everything gets tight and heavy.
Once you finally receive oxygen, you feel the difference of the weight slowly be lifted but then you feel the soreness in your chest from the pressure of trying to breathe. Your lungs take a beaten. Doctors have said, once you get relief after a severe asthma attack, to take your time and relax, sleep cause our lungs took a beaten.
So if you never experienced this before, I happy you haven't. Cause sometimes you only have minutes and I wouldn't want anyone to feel that way, its a bad feeling to know that you could die right wherever you are.... so anyone asthma free, enjoy it!! I know I wish I could.

Perhaps Harry needs magnesium sulfate, which is useful for treating severe asthma attacks when it is received through an IV. Magnesium sulfate is a bronchodilator. It relaxes the bronchial muscles and expands the airways. This can relieve Harry's shortness of breath. Of course, he needs to see a doctor to have this administered to him.

Damn, I don't like hearing about severe chest pain in a person this young. It didn't help having smoke or fog going, and if he has asthma, that just adds to it. He could have been taken from the stage on a stretcher. I don't know anything about him, but the caption caught my attention and considering the heart issues in my family, I was concerned about that until I saw someone's comment about his asthma. I hope he's doing better.
During bad attacks from the fog, he has been seen holding his chest. Not entirely sure if this was asthma, but very possible.

As someone who suffers from pleurisy, singing makes chest pain really bad, but I’ll perform through it even if it kills me and I die right there in front of all of them.
