I broke my wrist in two places radius and ulna. Had my cast removed a week ago. My hand is very stiff and painful. Cannot afford physical therapy though, so I try to follow what you advice. It is sooo painful and not easy to do, but I wont give up. Thank you so much for great video!

Hi, great video . I had a question and hoped for your opinion . I broke my wrist and have had my cast on for almost 7 weeks and will be getting it removed today. Before my break I jumped rope almost daily. I was wondering if you thought jumping rope to be a good physical therapy...I will not be going to a PT due to zero insurance. I feel I can recover completely by being wise and seeking out advice in places such as here. I miss jumpng rope very much and hope I can get back to it. Since Ive had the cast on I've worked on range of motion and feel I can now do many movments now without a problem . Thank you for any advice or opinions .

I am so sorry, but there is not a #4. We are working on updating the whole series, but it may not be in the near future. If you would like, one of our Occupational Therapists - and Certified Hand therapists can see you through telemed. Most insurances are paying for this now and making it very easy on the patients to get set up. If you are interested, call or text 337-9814053 or email me at claudia@labordetherapy.com

I can not be held responsible for what I do in my sleep!!! no matter how I start out in the night I end up on my stomach.. Which has actually not been a bad thing for me, i.e. no neck problems, and has actually turned out to be beneficial now as I have 4 bulging discs. so for at least a few hours a day I am comfortable and relaxed. However, this has brought on a major problem, as I just had wrist surgery and must now sleep on my back with my arm all propped up.. it doesn't work, eventually I flip to my stomach and get woke up with immense shockwaves of pain!i have taken to sleeping in my recliner. my back is Killing me now.. any suggestions short of tying me to the bed, haha? side sleeping is not an option as I was hurt in a work injury years ago and laying on my shoulders for too long causes the shoulder blades to pop out of place. No, I'm not elderly, just an accident waiting to happen.

I am so sorry, the only suggestions I have are on the video. But I will say that many people that put their mind to it and don't give up have been able to change. It does take work.

@@LaBordeTherapy , well it's bc of PT's like you that I will NEVER set foot in another PT office again! You treat people like sheep, treating us all the same instead of like the individuals that we are! It's bc of 2 PT's who have that same thought process as you, ."put your mind to it and don't give up" that I went to from a functioning member of society to a drain on my family!!! why, bc they treated me as they would all the others with my flexibility.. to, bad for me as a teen I was a gymnast and as I grew up and older I continued to do things that would keep me extremely flexible.. I've got done my own therapy for over a year now with the careful watch of my dr. It has been a slow and painful process, but I'm getting there by NOT skipping steps. but I will never be the same bc of what these PT's did to me. I'm still not an active member member of society, and am still a financial burden to my family. but at least I can do some chores and clean myself now.

@@marytramp5678 I am so sorry Ms Mary that I cant give you any more help. Its hard on the internet. If you are ever in Lafayette La, I will give you free visit and give you more individual care and specifics I am sure I would be able to do that because I would see you in person. But I cant do that online because Idon't know you and have not evaluated you. Wish I could. Wish you the best in your recovery.
