The best beer is from the Czech Republic. It is a great beer history, the city of Pilsen is a beer city with a great history of beer. Pilsner urquell
@@petrpetrik1003 It's always subjective. My favourite would be the Augustiner Lagerbier from Munich. I've never drunk a better beer than that.
@@petrpetrik1003 do you work for Pilsen brewery? It's sounds like you are advertising 🤣
With large breweries and all their varieties together with micro breweries there are probably almost a thousand different beers in Poland! Are you sure you have tried them all ? 😳
There are no craft beers on the table, which are very easy to find in Poland, as they are available even in small grocery stores. What he has on the table is mostly international lager and one IPA, but from a large concern, so not quite in style.

oh man, you definetelly have to try beers from small local polish breweries. There are not only mix sweetness with biterness. Instead you'll discover wide variety of arommas. Feel invited to Poznań where we can make pub crawling with true polish beers :D. Here on your table are huge concerns almost tasting the same like water.
You should definitely try beer from smaller breweries. Big part of beers you tried are from huge companies that makes huge amount of cheap beer for wide customers. They are average at best but they do not compare to craft beer from smaller breweries which we have a lot. Try to look for nearest smaller brewery, you should find it everywhere in Poland.
I think you have rightfully earned the honor to be a quality tester (taster) of beer after Beer Stream 1 is finished 😁
I'd sure have a taste.. reminds me of this summer vacation. I need another holiday somewhere far away from the hectic and stressful cityscape!🌅🏖🍸

Lech is also my favorite beer. But I like it flavored with fruit, and without alcohol. But it definitely tastes like hops, and delicious and satisfying when served chilled.
Yo Andre, Tip for You 😄Hold glass under 45 degree angle and Pour beer on the wall of the glass, so it doesnt get foamy 🍺
Książęce IPA (Prince's beer)to było moje ulubione piwo. For me now most of beers what you have tried taste exactly same. But as most people say you should try more local beers. And yes, usually Polish beer is over 5% of alcohol. But believe me, if you will try really strong beer (Dębowe mocne 8%) you will recognise difference.
perła mocna wymiata
You should try Łomża, it’s one of the most popular beer lately. It’s my favorite one :)

hey ya! high five for quite good knowledge about from what city specific beer are come from, nice. Most popular (due to price and availability) is Żubr, have also good advertisment on tv, but when it comes to taste was quite surprised that you did not like Ksiażęce IPA. I like it so much. Lech - good choice :)
Andre - you took large brewery companies - you should look for more expensive brewery in bigger city - there is a lot of polish small brewery - e.g. Pinta, Bojanowo, Fortuna, Raciborskie, Lwówek, Kormoran and a lots more ;) Those ones You tried are huge comapnies and beer is ok to drink and its cheap, but there is a lot of more better one :)
Raciborskie ciemne lub rżnięte wymiata. Pozdro
Atak Chmielu z Pinty. W sumie praktycznie kazdy kraft mi podchodzi.
Mate I have counted 15 beers on the table. There must be around 150 different beers in Poland at least. Probably much more if you include small local brewers . Piast(yellow wheat beer) is my favourite though. Warka Strong is another one I would recommend

Hey mate, nice program, you are pretty brave taking on all these beers. Couple of observations: żywiec biały is 4,9% alcohol 😁 also those beers should be chilled recommended temperature for them before consumption is s 0-4 degrees.Enjoy
Maybe that's the reason he doesn't like most of them, not cooled enough
@@magdakonop4566 it looks like that Magda as these beers appear to be not cooled down to recommended 4 degrees temperature. He is a funny guy sounds to be English, i think in England English beers are served not too cold (this is what i remember when having an English beer in London)
@@darekmuszynski6993 Yep. You might be on something here, plus English they like darker bitter taste, i think...
Bitterness comes from hop mostly. So more bitter bear usually have more hop extract and sweeter beers come with more malt extract (or just less fermentation). Specific flavors come from both different proportions of malt & hop but also different varieties (like caramel malt or smoked malt, specific hop mix), different yeast and so on. As there are few dozens established beer styles there are many different products for ppl with different taste. It's not all about getting drunk (with stronger alcohol content). It's just that particular style is inherently stronger (like Stout ... ) Sure there are some beers which are made to make you drunk without following any specific style. Like most with "Mocne" in the name.
The best beer is from the Czech Republic. It is a great beer history, the city of Pilsen is a beer city with a great history of beer. Pilsner urquell
16:14 - I dont 11% was the alcohol volume. I think it was some extract volume or something lime that.

@@melankomasofcaria1722 Marcin was not disrespectful. It was a gentle way of saying that this lad clearly has no clue about beer range available to him. All he tried was a few commercial beer/lager. English bloke living in Poland here, yeah my favourite is Ksiazece red as being a bitter drinker it reminds me of the closest Polish beer to bitter, my other favourite is although not a bitter, Warka strong (Black label) might be worth a try, Warka red label that you tried I like freezing cold on a boiling hot day, although a lager is refreshing and goes down a treat but I wouldn't drink it at any other time though even though I have a stock of it for when the weather improves.
when in poland i normally drink zywiec or okocim porter, they are dark stout like and strong, last time i discovered the komes beers, baltic porter and imperial stout, jeez about 11%,try them if you can
You should try these polish beers: Łomża, EB, Piast, Ciechan, Lwówek, Leżajsk, Harnaś, Dębowe Mocne, Okocim, BUH and Karmi 🙂
Wojak is also must-have beer

it's worth trying Polish moonshine, some of them are quite strong, but you can always choose one with a fruit flavor. Usually these are lighter in taste
Okocim is great for my taste! They sell many polish beer at my local Asian store in Arizona. I now only buy Guinness dark beer. Btw, I was born in Poznan.

20:21 kurwa! 🤣 🤣🤣 Lech is pretty good and Tyskie I can enjoy, but the rest aren't my... cup of tea either. The darker beers are better in Poland, the porters
As to the Perła beer, there's 2 types, the bad one, which you tried, and Perła Export, which is one of the best polish beers, lighter and much more refreshing. National favourite. One of.
Other beers to try:
"Namysłów" - light beer. You might like it.
"Lubuskie":
Lubuskie has many variations and flavoured options: "chocolate" "blueberry" "apple" "strawberry" "aloes" etc.
My fav are: lubuskie celtyckie, chocolate, and blueberry. There's also a "light" version.
"Magnus" - has flavoured options (chocolate, toffi)
"Fortuna"- dark beer
"Łomża"
"Cornelius"
*Non alcoholic options: lubuski kwas chlebowy.
During winter, in pubs there's often an option to order "grzaniec". I guess you already drank it in Czech/Slovak pubs.
It's usually a mulled wine + seasonings, but sometimes there's an option of a "mulled beer" + seasonings. It's sweet, and it's based on a light beer, common additions are: orange slices, ginger, cloves.
I've tried all those beers and my favourite one is always the cheapest one. Thank you for your video - it made me realize I am a stingy person and have an alcoholic problem 😆
Mhhhhh you would die if you tried all polish beers in one sitting. There is so much more: Łomża, Okocim, Harnaś, Halne, Kuflowe, Karpackie, Śląskie, Wojak, Kmicic, Dębowe, EB, Miłosław, Książ, Leżajsk, Ciechan Królewskie, Bosman, Mocne, Namysłów, Furman, Barbakan.... and many more.

You forget the Special how dare you?!
ŁOMŻA mocne

I like your honesty. You don't tend to sweeten up your opinion about PL beers although these are very comercial beers mostly of lower quality so don't expect much :D. My fav comercial beer is Perła Export (the one in your vid is Perła Chmielowa which is with more added hops? I guess). But when I want to drink a better beer I choose one from thousands of Craft Beers.
You have just tried a few so called "commercial beers". There are so many middle and small breweries with nice kraft beer. For example "Lech" is a fine watery light beer and you are searching for those kind of beers, so you have also a specific taste (it means, you won't probably like any IPA, APA, wheat beers, etc.). That's fine. I assume you prefer light beers like "Peroni or Budweiser or Augustiner"...from the polish beers try to find Miłosław/Ale Browar/Pinta or some large beer shops in bigger cities (they should help with the choice). Na zdrowie.

You definitely need a good guide trying Polish beers! You missed some quite good beers and chose some belonging to the same breweries. E.g Tyskie and Książęce is the same, just different types. Lots of you selected are already either Calsberg or Heineken and we have some really Polish beers that are not so popular but way better than the ones you tried.
Well, we have very much different tastes :D
To me on this table are both the best and the worst :)
But to me Tyskie is not a beer, Lech is even worst :P
Żywiec:
- the standard one is good as a concerned
- APA is great
- Białe is my favourite wheat beer
Książęce: i love the IPA, but all of those beers are good.
The beers that are not appering on this video:
- i highly recommend the Grodziskie beer, often available in Żabka
- Miłosław, especially Sosnowe IPA
- Okocim is good as a cheap beer; some days ago they made the Zimowe (Winter) one, which was better as a warm than cold, it Was something like a Grzaniec (mulled beer), it was fkn awesome; the polish ale that they were making (i think i didn't see it on shops last Times) was very good too.
Your opinion bout taste rsns is quite correct. In theory traditionally brewed lager (opposed ro ale) can reach up to slightly over 5%. Anything above is somehow fortified...thus the flavour has to be balanced smway.
Btw Kasztelan= Kush tell ann. 4 the record.

Cześć André! Your selection is from the biggest breweries in Poland, so you missed a lot local and the beer from small Craft brewers. If you are interested in a good selection of Craft, try the smaller shops, they have more beers in the fridges but mostly in the bigger cities! I know a lot of people prefer beer from the bottle but you should always try it from the glass, if you don’t have a tasting glass, take a wine glas, you will taste and smell the difference. Only in a glass beer can show you the whole range of flavors in a beer. The problem is, that most beers you had, are almost brewed from the same companies. So they don’t very that much in alcohol and taste. But I can say they are not bad but just average. Na zdrowie and enjoy your time in Poland 🇵🇱 Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 David-

This under beer was popular in soviet times and was very refreshing and with lot of calories, so good for ppl hard working This drink it's kinda like beer but home made with a little alcohol in it. We slavs prefer to drink it when it was cooled, you can find recipes for it at the internet and it's izi to make at home, I recommended every one to give it a try. ;) Also in some polish shops there are possibilities to buy it ready from factory but in these days it's rare to get some.

Piwo na miodzie gryczanym is not popular beer in Poland but is my favorite beer. Na miodzie gryczanym means on buckwheat honey. In Poland we have bears with honey. Żubr means Wisent. There is a bear on the label because the Wisent supports endangered species and they just add them to the label. I personally prefer craft beer and I don't drink anything from this table except the buckwheat one.
Też pijam i jak dla mnie to piwo jest słodkie. No na pewno nie gorzkie. Dlatego trochę nie rozumiem jego reakcji no ale może Polacy mają inny gust :)
My dear friend, good video. Two points though:
1. Beer tastes best served between 7-10*C (some cases even 3*C). Only then it unleashes the whole taste :)
2. When pouring, the glass needs to be held at an angle (best 45*C) and you then pour on the glass mid-point. The reason you had all those foams is you were pouring straight into the glass.
Keep up i na zdrowie! :)
You are hilarious! I love watching you 🙂

Just one minor suggestion: if you pour so the beer flows down the side of the glass, you might get less “froth,” and be able to highlight the color better.
Otherwise? GREAT video, very entertaining. I’ve never had Polish beer. Never been to Poland. Might be reasons to get on a plane😏👍🏾🍺
