Chłop wie co dobre. Mozna jeść filety ,wołowine ,chińczyki ale polska kuchnia przebija to. Dziś jadłem pierogi ruskie u mnie w mieście to mistrzostwo . Pracuje za granicą i te smaki jak zawsze wracam to musi być zaliczone.
Naleśniki z serem, pierogi ruskie, pierogi leniwe, kluski ziemniaczane z serem, knedle , kopytka ,proste składniki a smak mega. Oczywiście najlepiej smakuje jak ktoś przyrządzi i nie trzeba gotować ani zmywać xD

So when you are in Bialystok you should visit a legendary local bar with cheap food called "Zodiak". When you are done enjoying your meal there, you can take a little trip to meet ex almost president of the city called Krzysztof Kononowicz. He is a local wiseman who enjoys meeting travellers and sharing stories about his life. His neighbour has kury also.

Podlasie and Mazury you should visit definitely. Towns like Mrągowo, Giżycko or Ostróda for Mazury, and Augustów and Białystok for Podlasie you should enjoy. If you like villages then area around Krynki I believe would something special for you.

Andre, I am from the north west of the uk, am half Indian, quarter Polish and quarter English. I have a Polish surname however do not know much about my heritage. Your videos have recently inspired me to eventually one day travel to Poland, i was worried about the way i look that i may encounter some problems however your positive attitude and zest for life has made me forgot about that. You are a legend
As a Polish person i can tell you that the times when you would have problems in Poland for looking "different" are long gone. We are a tolerant nation and treat well everyone, that comes to us and treats our country and values with respect. :)

The ladies recommended you the best regions in Poland. Mazury and Podlasie, you should definitely visit it. Actually most of your content should be from there tbh. You will probably find the best villages, churches and a lot of nature around. Many wooden buildings aswell.
I love this, people of different cultures showing love for one another and appreciating good food together, I love Poland and can see why you are so passionate about it, since learning more myself I have grown to love Poland too ❤️🇵🇱

I'm a fan of your work on CZcams and I wanted to thank you for promoting Poland and our cuisine. I just watched your latest episode on devolay and noticed something. The lady owner invited you to visit Masuria and Podlasie. Indeed, your videos mostly focus on southern and southwestern Poland. These are very beautiful regions, but you should know that the western part of our country consists of territories that Poland acquired from Germany after World War II. You can see a lot of German influences there, both in architecture and in the cuisine and mentality of the people.
The true beauty of Poland can be discovered in the eastern part of our country. Please keep this in mind when planning future travels. In Poland, we call Masuria the "Land of a Thousand Lakes," and it is a beautiful place in terms of landscape (forests, lakes, and wilderness). Podlasie is a native territory of Poland with outstanding cuisine, wonderful people, and fantastic moonshine. Poland is often talked about as a xenophobic country. Anyone who thinks that should go to Podlasie and they will realize how wrong they are. In one small village, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and Muslims live side by side. Before World War II, Poland was a multinational country and you can see this especially in Podlasie. To this day, Tatars (descendants of Genghis Khan's Mongols) live here, and their cuisine and traditions have wonderfully blended with Polish culture over the centuries.
You absolutely must visit the mosque in Kruszyniany where the locals will gladly show you around, feed you, and tell you many interesting stories.I have traveled all over the country in all directions, and I definitely consider Podlasie the most beautiful. Please, during your next visit to Poland, make a trip to Podlasie and Masuria-you definitely won't regret it and you will discover a completely different Poland.
Pięknie napisałeś i ze wszystkim się zgadzam. Pragnę tylko uściślić, że historycznie, najprawdopodobniej centrum Polski jest Wielkopolska. Tak wynika z ilości polskich grodów i badań DNA. Moim zdaniem obecny kształt Polski dość dobrze odzwierciedla teren, gdzie się narodziła. Gorzej jest z poczuciem polskości.

I disagree with huge part of the statement above. E.g. saying something about "mentality of the people" based on regions they live in is childish in my opinion. Andre, I know you've met a lot of kind people in southern and western Poland that's why you've fallen in love with our country. It is true that you will definitely also meet kind people in Masuria and Podlasie (I know I did). It is also true that will you will try great cousine there. The the whole "land Poland acquired from Germany" is just bulls..t and doesnt show the true history. A lot of people living in western Poland (were) moved from "Kresy" the region really close to Podlasie. Also if you look on Poland 1000 years ago you will see Poles living in all of those regions. This is where Poland as a country was born. Please don't pay attention to artificial divisions between us in some peoples mind. All the best!

Hello Andre. I recommended you in your free time little village called Niemojów where is Inn - Zajazd "Gościniec". The main coordinator and mind of that Inn is Ms. Danuta. This place has many superlatives such as: Good food, wild atmosphere, fresh air, total silence, Polish-Czech border, Orlica river and much more for example on the Czech side...
