brief description of the process to change the transmission filter and verification that there are no special tools or processes needed to tighten the three studs that hold the filter in place. A simple flat blade screwdriver and open-end 10mm wrench will do the job. When the studs are snugged down that way, they will hold in place well enough to put a torque wrench and socket over the stud to finish tightening them.
The JD fluid mixed 50/50 with Matic J is meant to firm up shifts and "tighten" the torque converter at idle so it creeps forward better at 0% throttle. It did just that. The JD fluid meets the Matic J requirements but has a thicker viscosity. Thats all.
