i just love the relentlessness of the ending- just goes on and on repeating "marian" - probably the sisters of mercy best record, although no time to cry is another favourite
there were a lot of goth bands who made some good records but the sisters of mercy were the only one who consistently made good records, all 3 of their first albums are excellent- funny, i was going thru my vinyl records recently and found vinyl album by the sisterhood, no idea i had it or where it came from, i will have to listen to it one day @@freakof4
Thank you for being the only person awesome enough to review this song. It's one of the three tracks I will have played at my funeral. The switch to German for the last verse overwhelms me every time I hear it. A truly beautiful composition. I have to add, I love your head nodding to the tune. It's hypnotic.
