Having thicker eyebrows, longer lashes, and a full head of hair also seems to be a huge contributor to the overall youthfulness appearance. She’s honestly very naturally beautiful and literally hasn’t aged much at all and looks like herself with little changes. The only telltale sign of her aging are the wrinkles and lines but they’re not even that noticeable even at her age. Truly impressive.
I do not have some Salma's eyebrow shape but as a brunette I knew to never ever pluck my eyebrows and as full as they are I always get compliments. I've never understood the overly plucked brow thing!?
Every photo in 2020 already shoes a round faced, saggier version of herself - which is natural aging... It's just a middle aged woman, like most, with some face surgery and filters and photoshop, but easy to see in movies where they cant hide it. In Eternals she looked old. Reality is rough!
I don't know, I don't have any of those and nobody can ever guess my age. And I just hydrate in the morning, nothing more. There are general rules of course but they don't always apply, I even have hooded eyes and they supposedly age worse 🤷🏼♀️ i believe being happy helps 🤷🏼♀️

@@79Clochette everyone’s different. I’m just speaking in general. As we age our lips thin, our brows drop, and our hair lashes and brows thin out. So having thicker brows and hair to start with helps with everything starts falling out. That’s all I’m saying. There are other factors that make people look young. I wasn’t saying that having thick eyebrows and long lashes are the only contributions.
She really really does not look like she has had any surgery other than possibly the brow lift, and if she had one it was done so well and fit her so well. Genetics are huge for her obviously, but she's an excellent example of "less is more'

People with olive/darker complexions just don't wrinkle as much as someone with white skin. Salma is just one example of this.
This so true. My Mom didn’t have a single wrinkle till she was in her mid fifties. I have friends that are fair that have crows feet since they were in there early 20’s. We tend to get brown spots, instead of wrinkles.

They still have to take care of their skin, avoid drugs and alcohol and use sunscreen. I've seen people with olive complexions in their 30s with etched in 11s because of drugs and no sunscreen.

I really enjoyed this one because I'm just a few years younger than Salma. I'd definitely like more videos on women into their late 50s, 60s, 70s. Most of the videos I have watched are on young people that seem outrageous they are getting major procedures done that completely change their faces. I'd love to see some of these older actresses who still look like themselves but possibly have done some procedures.

I remember Lorry Hill said face shape plays a role too in aging. Salma has a square shaped face which I believe she had said ages a little more gracefully. Kind of like Paris Hiltons (who also looks amazing for her age) & I'm sure her genetics and lifestyle definitely plays a role too.

Salma is one of those true natural beauties and as a woman almost the same age, I find her to be an inspiration and role model in terms of how to maintain a naturally youthful physical appearance. I have to say, the two pictures you use to illustrate a brow lift are some of the few pictures where she has her hair pulled up. As a women I can assure you that is the cause for the sudden brow elevation
True. Also, with some up-do's, strands of hair can be pulled off the face and pinned or tied to temporarily lift or tighten the face. The actress Marlene Dietrich said she used to do that to lift her face and emphasise her cheekbones more.
I actually think it's face tape, often used by muas for events and stuff like that to give a brow or face lift effect

56 is not old. Some people just look young well into their 60s. Also, I always wonder when it is mentioned that Restylane etc. were approved only after 2000 in the US - Restylane/Perlane were approved for filler use in 1997 in Europe. Also Botox was approved for cosmetic use in 1996 in Europe.

My mum looked similar at 50 to her at that age! She's 63 or so now and mainly just has some wrinkles and the start of grey hairs at the temples. It's awkward sometimes when 30 year old men try to hit on her and she mentions having kids and they're like "oh me too, mine is 3" and she goes "yeah my oldest is 30" and they're like 😵💫😳⁉️. She's a manager at a small shop in a mall, so she has to be careful when responding to flirty customers and find some way of mentioning her age/kids/husband so they back off lol

Salma Hayek is one of the most beautiful woman in the world. In my estimation she's got medium to thick skin not thin, where creepiness would show, that is attributed to her nationality like me. I'm 60 and people confuse me for 45 all the time not saying I'm beautiful because I think I'm pretty average, but Selma is truly beautiful.
I tend to be critical when watching these types of videos, as I think I'm pretty good at seeing small surgery changes that I think other sometimes miss, but you're always an exception to that. Including this video. I thought you nailed just about everything. Totally agree with the cheek and lip filler, as well as the brow lift. Im really impressed with how subtle she had her lips done at first. (I'm usually really good at spotting it, even when done minimally, but with this one I don't think I would have been able to tell when she first started getting it without her prior pictures for comparison. She had a lot of restraint. Later on it became easier to spot.) The only thing I questioned was when you said she might have had a brow lift Revision recently, and that's because it looks (to me) that the lateral part of her brow has been drawn in. In both pictures you showed I think this is the case. And I think in the prior picture the brow tail was drawn in sloping downward laterally, while the more recent picture it had been drawn more straight across. I could be wrong of course, but it really looked like her lateral brow hairs were missing, and we were only seeing some type of brow pencil or powder. (And I've seen girls do this purposefully so they can alter their brow appearance) Just a thought. Thank for sharing. Love your videos. 😊👌

Wish he would know more about what makeup can do. In one photo where he says her brows looks lifted, I can clearly see that the brows have just been plucked at the tails and then "lifted up" with brow makeup.

My daughters did powder brows and I think Selma did too. They make their lips fuller with pensil. I think Selma did make up changes and nothing more. She has a full face like my grandmother and fine skin. My grany looked like 50 when she was 80. Blue eyed lady (light blue eyes give more youthfull look) died with all her teeth intact and white. Her face oval with small wrincles around eyes and her body and breasts firmed like a girl. Genetics can work miracles! Selma reminds me of her
Selma Hayek definitely is a natural beauty. I am no Selma Hayek, but I think she is like me in the sense that she just always looked young. I still get told I look 15-20 years younger than I am because I look younger than my age. I have always taken care of myself and now that I’m older, I still do. I think as a society we accept that people in their 40s and older should just let themselves go. We need to take care of ourselves throughout our lives.
If I'm not mistaken, she once demonstrated how pulling her hair into tight updos and ponytails gives the impression of a facelift. I noticed her and Jennifer Lopez most often wear such styles.

Well, recently, I was looking at images of deceased Old Hollywood actress Maureen O'Hara ('Miracle On 34th Street', 'The Quiet Man') and I couldn't see that she had any work done when she got older. She aged naturally and gracefully.
It's interesting that in many videos you say that having the lower lips almost twice bigger that the upper one is normal/ natural... I had never realized that but then I realized that it's because it's not the case for me, they pretty much have the same fullness, and then I realized that it is similar for other Black women. So I guess that this differs on ethnicities. I wonder if you could make a video on the facial differences in all ethnicities that a Dr must take into account I guess.
My bottom lip is noticeably larger, almost 2 1/2 times and I’ve noticed similar shapes in family and friends who are also black. So idk lol regardless black genes are awesome

I’m 40. I have no fine lines/ wrinkles, my forehead is smooth and no crows feet even when I smile….all with no Botox or filler. I just have good skincare and eat healthy. My biggest help is that I have Olive Skin like Salma. I think skin thickness and complexion helps a lot!!!!

Even at Work, I get bypassed for some positions just by virtue of me being considered too young to look/be accepted as a higher Exec. It's insane, it doesn't bother me as much now, but, it felt like, growing up, what was the "Magic Potion" to magically "grow old" whilst everyone around me was busy chasing the "Fountain of Youth."
Recently, just this January 2nd, I tried getting a personal Makeup Artist do my face (I never used makeup for 35 years straight! Not even lipstick!), I saw my photos after getting the makeup done and I became scared of what the chemicals in the makeup products would do long-term for my skin. I realised then that hey I should really just stick to what I was born with and accept that I will most likely be this childfaced little girl for the next two three maybe five years and enjoy it! Eventually within this month I was meeting different guys who all were not making a big deal out of my childish looks anyway! Guys love me! Haha!

Makeup can make your natural beauty shine through, and depending on how you use it, you can look a bit older. There are safe products out there and as long as you don't put on too much and remove your makeup properly when needed, it won't do any harm to your skin. You would probably look good with a cat eye and red lipstick. Red lipstick suits everyone.
Asians look young until their early 40s but seem to age quickly after 45..

I think that often instead of cheek filler people should opt for temple filler, I personally have really hollow temples as well as under-cheek-areas and if I had cheek filler it would only make the hollows of my face more prominent. A neutral, proportioned look where there is no massive contrast between different areas is usually the way to go.
Work or no work, no one looks like that through surgery. She won the genetic lottery, hers is a rare beauty even among the beautiful people.

I just watched a interview yesterday and she recently just had a lift for sure. Her face is stretched. Not botox efdects. I'm still on the fence on best implants as I used to watch her in mexican soap opera and she seemed way smaller.

I have been accused of having breast implants, even though I had double D breasts before implants were even being done. I had double D's in 1971 at the age of 16. She has always had huge breasts and if anything, she may have had them listed, but that's it. You look at these big breasts like they're a blessing. To me they're ugly, too big, and hurt my back. I did go see a doctor about having them reduced because they are natural. However, having them reduced is a huge invasive surgery so I opted not to. You have to understand some women have naturally very large breasts.
I believe he doesn't cover that because he is a facial plastic surgeon and only focuses on the face. Lorry Hill on the other hand does all the body but she hasn't covered Salma yet

My mom saw her when she was in Mexico and said Salma always had big breast, before her big fame. From what I seen in pics, they do look natrual, but who knows. We are used to seeing plastic bodies on social media that we forget a lot of people are born w those features. Most people aren't even ugly, and most attractive ppl dont have surgery. Wr're just more on social media than outside that we forget how ppl actually look in person than pics.

I met her when she was 45. She still had a tiny waist . She wears shape wear (as most we women do ) . Her face barely any wrinkles . I have to say , what surprised me the most was her backside (big and nicely formed) she is known for her breast but the breast looked proportionate to the rest of the body on camera they look huge but in person they are even with the rest of the body but her backside I am surprised that people don’t talk about it as much . I Also saw her daughter Valentina who then was like five or six . I am sure she does protocols in her face . She can afford it .
...I just want t o say, that as recently as last week, Salma Hayek says she has NOT had any botox, or fillers yest. She uses special botanical from Mexico, and other things, and a perfect diet. Also, she did not have a brow lift. Just want to point out, being an expert with make-up, that you can get the appearance of a "brow-lift", i.e. a higher brow, simply with brow pencil!!! Also, alot of the other things you suggested happened, can also be performed with make-up very easily.
