I remember bass fishing every day in Naples as a kid and you'd sometimes see these chinese looking fish full of color...fried all sorts of tactics to get one and never could get them to bite..they acted like a bottom feeded but man they were pretty

Snake head fish are plentiful in Vietnam ponds, rivers, etc. As a young lad in Vietnam, remember fishing them. These are one of the best fresh water fishes to eat. I am happy to see this video you posted!
Robert, because of you I bought the Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 240 back in December 2021. Where I live, we occasionally lose power for up to 12 hours, and I use a CPAP machine to sleep. This Jackery can run the CPAP for two full nights, providing I turn off the heat & humidify settings. I'm pretty impressed.

A meal with the family, what a miracle. We serve an awesome God. You and your family are more than overcomers. You are an example of why we serve a living God. He does answer ALL prayers. He may say YES or he may say NO. Either way, he answers. I am thankful yours was a yes. Those fillets look amazing. It is hard to believe they are snakeheads.

Caught a northern snakehead yesterday. 31in and 15lb. They are unbelievably invasive and very aggressive.

The only problem I find with urban canals is the amount of trash polluting them! I would be hesitant to eat anything I caught from an urban canal.
Snakehead in Florida are a lot different looking than the ones we have here in VA. I'm sure they're just as delicious tasting
