My uncle had a massive stroke yesterday morning. He lives in PA and is a huge fisherman and loves your channel. His sister, my mom are here in Sarasota for over 50 years now. I'm praying he gets better, it's too early to tell. I'm glad you're doing good. Take care. Keep the great videos coming

I had a massive stroke in 2020 that put me in a coma. My only salvation was my wife dragging me out to fish from the car. He will OK.

When Sarah made the video giving us an insight on what was going on, in my mind I was like oh no like many of us were and began to pray for you and your family. Watching your videos have been my escape so many times when I have been dealing with issues that arise and watching them immediately makes my day better. God knows exactly what kind of people to put in your life and even though I know you have no idea who this boy is that is writing you a comment all of the way from central Kentucky but I am so glad that one day long before y’all’s girls were born I stumbled upon your channel and have been hooked ever since

I just started watching your videos and had no idea about the stroke. For 2 months you’ve recovered incredibly and it’s so good to see. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re a good dude!
Seeing that line pisses me off. Recreational fisherman like you and I have our season’s shut down by NOAA and FWC, but joker commercial guys can long line and kill thousands of pounds of fish a day, including bycatch, and leave their gear in the ocean. Thank you Robert, for taking the time to clean that up bring awareness.

Truth be known, I wasn't going to fish that day. We were headed home the next day and was going to settle for no queens. Your encouragement changed my mind. You're a genuine person, thanks again! Very sad. We had a barge that was sunk a mile out from Egmont Key. A buddy was the attorney of the company who owned it so he had the numbers 1st. We dove it for over a year. On one dive we found a shrimp net broken off on it. So sad to see all the fish tangled in it dead. So many flounder around it we’d leave our guns & go down with a dive knife to get them. Heartbreaking how many fish died in that net.

Hey Rob back In 2019 my dad had a stroke ..it was a very scary moment because me and my dad are extremely tight, it was the scariest moment of my life.. Thank God he recovered and he’s doin okay.. I just recently showed him your videos and we recently seen that you had a stroke ..now every time I play CZcams videos he asks about you and if your ok.. funny thing is we don’t even like seafood but your channel is so amazing & we enjoy all of ur videos …God bless you and your family Rob

Just keep goin and fighting every day,,, great advice Rob thanks mate,,, I got a traumatic brain injury 👍, and your videos and story keeps me going too, your one of my hero's,,, great work removing that long line and taking your friend on the trip, for his bucket list,,, my dad passed recently from cancer and mum 3 years ago also to cancer, and my only regret not doing the bucket list things, like catching barramundi and hunting a deer buck... time and money just never allowed it... meanwhile my horrible sister has cut me from inheritance and I'm living in a tiny caravan, off grid 250acres ,,, but you know what I have my I parents ashes here with me, and my dogs, so you are part of my CZcams FAMILY NOW,,, thankyou stay well... butch from down under.... 🙏

My favorite whole fish is brook trout from a cold Colorado stream fried in a beer batter. I eat the tail and fins and only leave the fish bones
