On the .22lr u have the 17 the slide sticks out too far on the 19 it's too far back. Swap the slide locks. The takedown lock for the slide they make them different thickness for what reason idk but if the slides are not flush with the frame like your other ones it wont function as it should. It would also mess with the reset on the trigger if the slide is not in the right place. I'm sure not much but still it looks strange.
@@308c ya it took me 5 of them to figure out the deal. I thought the slides wer made out of spec. If u put q oem slide lock to test it and its still too far back it most likely the lug on the aftermarket barrel I had 1 do that .wer it contacts the slide lock. But usually it's the lock. I just sanded my aftermarket ones until the slide was flush. U just gotta sand the Grove in the lock . I noticed too if the slide too far forward wen u pull the trigger the slide moves a little that's what made me want them all flush . If u have a set of calipers u can just measure the locks and make them equal to a oem so u don't gotta keep taking the slide on n off.

Advantage Arms made a threaded barrel for it. Unfortunately most places that sales them are out of stock. But if you Google it you may find a place that still has them.
If you're looking to save money by trying to build one not worth it. If you do decide to build one go with all glock OEM internal parts and slide to, but the part are more important. There's a few CZcamsrs that have lost of video explaining how to do it right the first time.
@@supreme5538 I can tell you how I did. It it requires modification to the trigger connector. I just took a drimmel and removed about 1/2 the metal in the middle of the trigger connector. You have to be careful not to take to much.
It's good to know that with my love for these self builds , I am not alone. I think I love building as much as shooting. One day I might even be good at one of them, but its so much fun.
Buddy I was looking at your Barrel on several of them while you had the slide locked back your over lubricating your Glock builds man you know oclock specifications call for three drops of oil one drop in each rail cut and one drop on the barrel then you wipe it all down over lubrication can lead to malfunction the Glock is a dry gun
@@308c yeah a lot of people don't know the clock specifications calls for three drops one drop in each row cut at one drop on the barrel spread what's on the barrel around with your finger and you're good to go over lubrication and cause them to malfunction I'm a 1911 man it took me a long time to get used to it too
If you stick with OEM internal parts you have a much better chance of it working the first time you shoot it. Do a good functions check if anything hangs up fight out why, the side and barrel should always lock up 100% no matter how you release the slide.

I’ve had a problem with mine where whenever I put a loaded mag in it won’t stay in. It just falls right out. I tried two different types of mags, one of them being oem.
I don't know why others do it but for me I already had the 22 slide conversations, and I wanted to see if I could make it work on the p80. It turned out way better than I expected. The feel, weight, recoil makes it so much fun to shoot.
Its because of the trigger connector has to much pressure preventing the trigger reset on the slide from past it with enough force. I took the trigger connector and made it thinner on the longest side so it's more flexible. Don't bind it.
I had to modify the trigger connector so that the slide would be able to move past it easier. Its still not 100% with all ammo and its still doesn't work well with Winchester white box. It seems to like 40gr bullets and high velocit.
Do you put just the locking block and rear rail in, then flip the frame upside down on a flat sharpening stone, or flat sandpaper to level the rails? I'm asking because I wonder if that would reduce break-in time and reduce malfunctions.
I got most of the frams from Rockybrass.com, the slides I got off Ebay, and internal parts we're from a mixture of places. Wherever I find them cheapest.
OEM internal parts work the best. If you're going to use it as a fun range gun put a 3.5 disconnect and a polished trigger bar in it from a reputable company.
@@yuethebrand the 26 I built with concealed carry in mind. So I used a OEM disconnect which gave me a heavy trigger pull. If I was building it for just range use I would have put a lighter trigger pull weight in it. But using any of these for self defense for me would be last resort.
@@yuethebrand most take some time to brake in just because of the tolerance stacking of different parts. But for me I like to have a few 100 rounds through any of my firearms with little to no malfunctions before I consider them self defense worthy. Also legal reasons keep me from wanting to use them. But if one is close to me and I have to use I will.

Its a wuelf chamfer eagle slide in FDE. I found it on ebay before all of this CV 19 happened. If you can't find it there you may be able to find it on their website or just searching Google.
G20 to a .22 is something I didn't think anyone would want...
It started out as a conversion for the G20 just for plinking. Then I wanted to see if I could make it more reliable using the P80

When weight is removed from the slide, you gotta increase spring rate. Try that for your failure

Any tips on certain ammo? Certain grains?
For my 9mm 124gr made them run better before I got them broken in. 180gr worked for the 40 cal. 230gr worked for the 45acp.

You can't do it. You can't even put the G44 on a standard glock frame.

Try removing 1 bullet out of the magazine see if that helps. Also what type of mag release are you using?

I've never sanded or stoned down any of my rails. Most of my brake in problems came from spring tension needing to be worked out.

No they are all gen 3. Most of the ejection problems I ran in to was because of the recoil spring.

I got my large frames from Brownells all the others came from Rockybrass. If they don't have the one you want check back they get them in pretty fast.
