Just built my 19 it work excellent with the ETS mag, allot of the jamming come from not smoothing out when you file it also buff and polising certain pieces, mines work smooth as butter 🤟 Make sure your mag springs are lubed as well
Every p80 I built has malfunctions first 2-300 rounds keep shooting it will work itself out. If you follow marine gun builders guide on the rails you might get lucky and get 100% reliable out the gate but most you have to break in. Haven’t figured out if the rails Are out of spec or the slide but not feeding correctly and not locking back in my cases have always been rails to tight or stiff. Need that buttery slide action!
Nice build. I found that on these builds, using a good bit of lube on the rails and other contact areas followed for a few 100 hand cycles, clean it, lube it lightly (normal) and they just run without skipping a beat. Just like a Ruger LCP.
Hand Stone the rails and the slide, also do a little polishing and fine-tuning of the slide lock. The p80 Glock 26 he's a nightmare when you first put it together
You gotta smooth out the inside better for yo spring to function better then smooth out the lines on your firing pen and it will function with no jamming
My is the same thing same p80 slide and glock 26 but mines jams with glock mags 10 round mag 17 round mag and 30 round mag it Jams every 3 shots do you know why?

I had to keep shooting mine. It started working good around the 200 round mark. I also locked it open when storing it so the guide rod spring would break in. I didn't know if it helped or not.

I'm all about doing things cheap just to see if I can get it to work. Back then I didn't want to pay the OEM price. Now I have OEM mag and it seems to be working great.

You wanna talk about picky magazine. haha. If you ever get a 1911 do yourself a favor and go Wilson Combat mags with the polymer follower. All of your problems will be solved.
Is this a P80 slide or Wuelf? I received a Glock 26 in a trade and it had this slide on it. Same exact color, but no markings. Pretty well made and the specs are on point.
I shot my fresh p80 with a kci 30 round didnt jam at all its all on how you build the gun not the magazines. Also shot a 10 round ets didn’t jam at all either
@@392misfit_wheel1 the area between the forward rail that you had to cut out for the guide rod to fit in. That may need more polymer remove on the sides and bottom so that the spring has room to compress. I used a drimmel. Go slow so you don't take to much off.
The trigger is the only after market internal part I have on it so its still about a 5lb trigger pull but it has a really short reset. I might make it litter one day. The trigger is from Serpico off Ebay. Ive used them with a 3lb disconnect and that combo is so nice.
I hear those P80 slides often have Gen 3 ejectors, and that stove pipe issue can be fixed by swapping to a Gen 4 ejector(keep the Gen 3 ejector housing though)

But to answer your question, "1st time quality" is something MarineGunBuilder says on his channel a lot. The guys a pro you should check out his videos if you haven't you'll defintely learn literally atleast one thing. He covers it all.

I’ve noticed when building polymer 80s you have to use regular Glock mags and rapid fire as well because the clear mags jams up the gun as well
I use a ets mag and it doesn’t jam but I’m sure there is a lot of bad ets magazines just try a few

The grains does not refer to the powder in the round it refers to the weight of the bullet so that would not effect the cyclic rate or pressure

All of mine needed to brake in. I have had some not work right because of parts but 90% of the time they just needed to be broken in.

I always use glock factory magazines. It eliminates mag issues from the start, also makes troubleshooting problems a bit easier. Nice build bud.
My 19 has been running great from the very beginning.
I'm about to do a P80 G34. I cross my fingers it works from the beginning.
Always get OEM Glock magazines they run good 💯👌🏻

Try using a different mag, cuz the clear ones like that jam on any gun, so just my experience and opinion, but like your vids dawg
Leave the slide locked back to the rear when you store the pistol to break the spring in!

I did. I didn't open the guide rod channel enough. Plus it didn't like the ETS mags at the time they had tight springs.
ETS mags are trash never put your life in the hands of anything other than a Glock brand magazine when carrying
