- Started since 1984, this street food stall is run by an old couple who make a variety of delicious and crispy Chinese breadsticks : Yau Char Kwai (YouTiao 油條 Charkway, Cakoi ) , Ham Chin Peng, Ngau Lay So, Cup Chung and Mah Kiok.

If they say it is traditional, does it mean that they still use borax as the raising agent in their youtiao? I read that the old recipe still contained borax. However, another source says that it has existed since Song dynasty and I'm not sure if they had already had borax so far back then.
I tried this stall few times it’s really yummy but now always passby also close. What is their business time?

This stall was located last year at Bukit Bingtang Station Jalan Alor side, but the vendor couple has moved somewhere else or they're just on retirement !
