Meeting someone like me might take a bit of time and patience. Try engaging in people you enjoy, whether online or in person.
The problem with guys is that they do not know what they want. Take note that, in reality, no girl is perfect. No one can fit "allâ of your requirements. So guys will then compromise. This part is tricky because you might try to date this Filipina with a missing requirement. Later on, your relationship gets boring. You realize that one missing requirement is important for you. Think about your red line or a thing you do not want to miss (e.g., traits and level of education).
Make sure to look in the right places; if she has red flags from the first month of dating, consider them and decide if you can compromise in the long run.

In my experience, age gaps kinda disappears after a while, in your mind I mean. As you get to know each other, you tend to look at each other more as actual persons rather than "the young woman" or "the older guy".
If a woman lets a guy lead, there will always be a connection, as long as they're both serious and he knows what he's doing.
Now, 1) if the lady listens a lot to others in terms of their relationship/lives or 2) doesn't really share her life with the guy, but is just there "for the ride", troubles will likely be on the horizon.
In my experience, the first point is pretty common in the west, where women are very active in society and tend to share/compare way to much of their lives with lady friends/coworkers etc. Not very good if you want lasting relarionships.
I'd assume the second point may be an issue in the Ph., I don't know, but it would be on my mind anyways.
