DIY Van Life Awning Setup | ARB Touring 2500x2500

- If you are in the market for an awning for your rig, it doesn't even have to be a van. The ARB Touring Awning makes life a breeze. It is super easy to set up and install onto just about any rack/track mount system. To roll it out and in takes very little time and even faster with two people. So far it has done everything we need it to, with zero complaints. The tarp/awning material is very durable and waterproof. It makes a great shady spot as well to chill under outside of the van. Compared to other similar awnings, it is much cheaper and gets the job done just the same. I'm sure the more expensive ones are incredible and not to bash them in any way. We're just showing you our choice/route and how it has worked for us.

Hello, I just put my ARB 2500x2500 up on my Ram Promaster 2500 high top van. I absolutely love it…with the exception of the 3 pull tabs to close up the awning. It’s almost impossible to get those three up over the button. I actually have to use a screwdriver which isn’t great for the aluminum case. Hopefully that will ease up after a couple usages. I have the tent but haven’t attached it. I really appreciate your video. Very helpful.
You can swap those connectors around for the cover. Just get a cheap rivet kit off Amazon if you don't have one. Drill out the rivets on the connectors and swap them around. It's way easier to connect them then. Arb should build it that way.

The awning is fantastic! Zero complaints. We haven't had any problems with the cover leaking.

This video took longer than actually setting up the arb. It's a lot easier if you don't extend the legs before attaching the side poles.
