Today I show you my new ARB awning. An unbiased review of what I think and how it's going for me so far. I hope this might help any future purchase you may be planning.

I have the 2x2.5 m ARB awning been for nearly 3 years now,
can’t fault.

Pretty good review. I've been thinking about getting an awning for my Delica. What you said about the King's awning compared to the Expensive one makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the info, it's good to hear unbiased reviews.

GREAT REVIEW! was ARB Awning with LED stip Vs Supapeg 180 awning. I only have roof bars. You've swayed me towards this.

Very interesting Matty. I’ve been pondering awnings and also thinking about the 270 etc. never had an awning before. Have a couple of tarps which I have as standby shade and shelter. So I have put off getting and awning as I’m a bit bewildered by all the choices etc. this video was very useful. I was always under the impression that ARB was ok but super expensive. I will definitely have a look at this one now. Cheers. Paul
I’m glad to hear that this helped mate. I was getting quite bewildered with it all myself, looking into the 270°. A lot of options.
I can only recommend looking honestly at how you currently camp, and what works for you, and then making a purchase that stick with that theme. That truly is the best outcome.
Yeah I mean, anything with ARB on it is pretty expensive. This one in my opinion is worth the money though.
My mate also raves about his ARB awning.....until it fell off on the Gibb river road and he nearly lost it except he saw it come off. They are only pop riveted on and he has now had to drill and put bolts through it. I have the Kings and although they are a third of the price and supposedly inferior, its done me well for almost 5 years now.....and hasn't fallen off..

Good review, thanks. One question, does it have a sail track or similar off the front end. I have a mesh sunshade (with rope you slide into track), would be useful if can attatch to that awning.

Hey mate! I’m honestly not too familiar with the Murchison swags - from what I see they look bloody good though.
I have planed to do a review on both my Jollyman single swag and my Crashpad single swag, if that may interest you. The Jollyman isn’t too far off the MR swag in styles.

Honestly I couldn’t tell ya mate. But I do know that these come with the lights as standard.

Hi, Just wondering how the awning is pegged down? Does it have guy ropes from the top, or is it pegged at the base? I ask because I couldn't quite see how it was done in your video. Cheers Ian.
Yeah mate it has guy ropes. At this point I just hadn’t set the up.

Yeah mate the air box & intake are on the left in the patrol.
